Stayed here to save money on a road trip with my daughter. The place was dated, but clean and spacious. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was good, it had a beautiful view of long beach. I really enjoyed the downtown area of LB, fun place to visit.

I was in Long Beach for business and needed a hotel for one evening. While I have to say price paid a factor, so did the location. I settled on The Inn of Long Beach and was grossed out the entire time. From the website of course it looked wayyy better than what it really looked like in person. The... More

Location is the key here, walk to Shoreline, downtown, or even Pine Ave. The price was right. However this is a budget hotel so don't expect state of the art amenities. Staff very nice. Good overall value, especially if your on a budget or need a very good location.

We checked in for one night before a cruise, there was a strong odor of mold, dirt behind everything, hair under the mattress, stuff (food) sprayed on walls. We checked in and checked out. Manager gave us no problem and did not even ask why.

Convenient location. Convention Center, numerous bars and restaurants walking distance. Supermarket across the street from the motel. Helpful staff. The free Internet is kind of substandard. The breakfast is best skipped. Still, a good value.

We've stayed there between one and two dozen times and had previously thought it to be a well-located nice place at a reasonable price but sure went downhill in the last year. Some of it could have been just a bad room. The bathroom door wouldn't close unless you figured out the trick. It smelled (according to my wife, my... More

I was happy with my stay at the Inn of Long Beach. They had internet access at no charge, a beautiful balcony overlooking the pool, nice accommodations, and a great shower with hot water coming in quickly and powerfully. Even though the room accommodated smoking, there was no obvious tell-tale smoke smell. Perfect location.

I've stayed there a couple of times. Clean enough. Friendly staff. I like the location too. Market across the street. Three blocks from the beach. Restaurants and shops within walking distance. I recomend it.

We had to be at a convention and couldn't find a reasonably priced room in the area. Saw this one in a Long Beach visitors guide, coupon included. With a coupon $59 1 bed, $69 2 beds, read coupon and use properly. The location is great, the parking lot is open to the street but we didn't have any problems with... More

We got in this Inn with a traveler's coupon to get a cheaper rate. Our coupon was refused and we got a normal rate. Anyway, we were on the road, it was late and we accepted. The room was barely ok: the bed was decent as well as the bathroom but he couch was torn and the carpet was stained!... More
