We stayed here for 4 nights during a Tournament of Roses Parade tour. Our room was clean and comfortable with a modern decor. Unfortunately, the furnishings were becoming dated--a lamp shade was cracked and the door to the storage cabinet was broken and would not shut properly. There were nice touches in the bathroom--a toothbrush holder and clothes line. Catherine,... More

For an older property the standards of maintenance, quality and cleanliness were impeccable Location is fab - if it’s not within walking distance you can catch a free shuttle bus outside the door Staff could not have been more accommodating Best breakfast in our whole two week trip

Good room, no free internet or parking. Great location in downtown Long Beach. I would recommend to tourist travelers without families. The hotel is too trendy to for with families and lacks some basics for value-minded families. The service is basic, a little snooty for my taste. Bartender is fine, I found the food to be expensive and not worth... More

We stayed at the Renaissance for our pre-cruise one night. It was a wonderful hotel with an elegant look. The staff was very friendly checking in and when asked any questions later. We had a no view room but since we where only there one night it did not matter. We where offered a room with a view for an... More

I traveled to Long Beach for a convention. My staff at the Renaissance was very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was good and light lunch at the bar area was fine as well. There are several resturants close by so finding some place for dinner was not difficult. I would highly recommend L'Opera. Fitness area is open 24/7 and although it was... More

The one thing that I can say about this hotel is location, location, location. It was located in a prime spot to visit the Long Beach pier and the restaurants on the north side of Ocean Blvd. Which made it very convenient for my husband and I, as we were looking for an easy three night vacation, where we could... I stayed at the Renaissance Long Beach for 5 nights last week. It was a very good experience and I would recommend it for business or leisure travel. The hotel is well located in the Long Beach area and is within walking distance of some of the local tourist attractions. It is also within walking distance of a few good... More

Took 30min to get the front desk to answer the phone... When I talked to the front desk clerk they were very short with me and completely ignored what my concerns were plus they want you to pay 12.95 a day for Internet access! At any motel 6 or other cheap hotel free Internet access is included with the room... More

I stayed at this hotel in the beginning of August 2010. It's a good hotel in downtown Long Beach with tons of food options within walking distance (most are only 1 or 2 blocks away). This hotel works for both leisure and business a like. They have a swimming pool with a great lounge area around it and a hot... More
