My husband got the romance package for us and an extra room for my children to stay with their aunt. What fun! There is so much history there, and I enjoyed wondering who had stayed in our room. Our room was quiet and dark at night, which was good for sleeping. (There was one guest who slammed a door in... more

We slept one night on the Queen, just for the fun of it. We had a good size room with a second bedroom for our teenager. We had the run of the boat and enjoyed exploring. This is an old boat and as long as you arent expecting 2008 5stars you will be fine. We enjoyed a drink in the... more

The Queen Mary looked beautiful from about a mile away on the freeway, but on a closer look from the parking lot, she no longer looked so nice. The lobby is small and appeared to be dirty, and there was not an abundance of guests, which is usually not a good sign. Our room was small and it was unclean.... more

We stayed in a King Deluxe room on the Queen Mary. Although some might look around and see "old and faded" we, on the other hand, looked around and saw history. We tried to imagine what it was like to cruise the ship during her hey-day. Unfortunately, It seems as if there isn't much regard to guests' comforts outside their... more

We were looking forward to our stay on this historical ship. It did not disappoint us at all. The ship itself is a floating museum and the staff that work there had to have been the most personable people I've encountered on a vacation. We stayed in a state room which was nice. Unless you're going to be spending a... more

Staying on the Queen Mary was such a fun experience and so much better than just staying at any other regular hotel! We had read some bad reviews about the ship, but I'm glad we didn't listen to them. My boyfriend and I stayed on the Queen Mary for 4 nights in an Inside Stateroom. It was very clean and... more

Ok so I must admit I actually really like staying in older places with personality. I had never stayed at the Queen Mary Hotel before, and probably wouldn't have had I not missed the last boat out to Catalina. I was bummed to have missed my boat, but thanks to hir website and my iPhone I had a place to... more

We selected the Hotel Queen Mary to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday because we had traveled on the ship from England to the US on one of its last voyages in 1966. Having read a number of negative reviews on Hotels.com, we set our expectations low, and found the rooms as described: a bit cramped, but with cute touches like... more

We stayed one night at the Queen Mary hotel. The room was fairly large and clean, however it could use some serious restoration work - especially the bathroom. The walls were in very poor condition and there was a ledge around the tub that kind of funneled shower water onto the floor. We had portal windows that had a nice... more

We found a super deal on this hotel ($69 for a king room) so we decided to give it a shot. The rooms are old and filled with history -- we got one of the "non-renovated" rooms with the original paneling, and it was lovely! We were there on a Tuesday night, so the place was very quiet and not... more
