Well equipped hotel, but not overly clean, which I would have expected from such a hotel. Additionally, the hotel seemed to be relatively old. Service was average, location for our purposes perfect.

Location: Great location--about 1/2 mile walking distance from the convention center. Not a bad area; fairly safe walking back and forth, even at night. Occasionally used the Passport bus (90 cents one way) to get to the convention center and other stores/restaurants on Pine St, which was nice. Rooms: Got a great price on Expedia and the room was clean.... More

Stayed at the Hilton for a one-night stay, business trip. Check in was a drag. Took 20 minutes to check-in. Only one attendent checking guests in despite the line. Staff was friendly and helpful and room service food was much better than standard, boarding on 4 star cuisine. Would stay again despite check-in issues which hopefully they will resolve.

Stayed in this hotel for one night - room was spacious and I was lucky to have a Balcony ....Lavazza Coffee supplied in the room. Had Internet problems though and while the telephone help was good in advising me that there was wireless available in the room this was not evident in any litreature in the room.To make it more... My idea of ‘Above Average’ may be much different from most willing to settle for an inexpensive room… However, as a business traveler, I look for cleanliness, bed comfort, fast internet, and conveniences like a refrigerator and microwave. A view is always the cherry on top of my rapid rewards. Okay – Hilton, Long Beach > Typical full service Hilton... More

Getting to the hotel is tricky if you don't know the area and the way the street winds around. However, it's nestled on the out skirts of the Pier area. The hotel has a nice lobby and the staff were friendly. At no time did I experience poor customer service. The rooms were nice, except the floor carpet could have... More

The Hilton Long Beach is part of the World Trade Center. It’s definitely oriented to the business traveler. We stayed four nights, and it was only at the last breakfast that we saw any non-business travelers. The property is clean, comfortable, professional. It’s hard to say much beyond that. There’s no discernable “personality”. I can’t find any faults with it,... More

We had originally checked into the Queen Mary (had fond memories from our honeymoon in '85), but the QM is no longer a Hilton after being purchased by the City of Long Beach, and it was so filthy we just couldn't stay. The Hilton Long Beach was able to book us for a seven-night stay when we called at nearly... More

The only good thing I have got to say about this hotel is the comfortable beds and pillows. Other than that, my stay at this hotel was horrible. I stayed four nights at the Hilton Long Beach to attend a nearby convention. I booked my stay through a housing bureau website and the hotel made not one, not two but... More
