This hotel is near Shoreline Village and is steps from restaurants and convention center. The rooms want to have a modern motif, but don't quite achieve it. I had an interior view room, so I was not able to take advantage of the location/view. The room lacked some of the amenities of what I've come to expect from Hyatt, and... More

Hotel is 25 minutes from LAX and is part of a convention/tourist area (adjacent to the Queen Mary). Rooms have been remodeled. Room service and housekeeping were very outstanding. Black out curtains which are controlled remotely add to the fresh new look. Great not only for business (lots of restaurants within walking distance) but for families as well. Highly recommended.

The location of this hotel is perfect. Ask for a harbor view--it's worth the extra money. It appears to be a business hotel in that it's right next to the convention center. Walking distance to the seaside village which houses restaurants and small shops. Being walkers we were happy to be right on the waterfront--nice path right along the ocean.... More

This hotel is in a great location for a relaxing vacation. It was close to the pier and other shops and restaurants. And there is a free shuttle to the Queen Mary right outside the entrance. We only had to use our car once in 4 days. Front desk and concierge were nice and very helpful, as was the girl... More

Was there for a 2 night stay with my spouse and we really enjoyed our time. The rooms are very tidy though not so spacious. The hotel is very well located with a nice view of Queen Mary and walking distance to most of the better restaurants. George and Jon at the bar are really great guys that make sure... More

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Long Beach as I was attending a convention at the Convention Center next door. This is the second time I have stayed in this hotel. Since my first visit 2 years ago, they have renovated the lobby and brought a more modern aesthetic to it, now nicely complementing the rooms. The rooms are... More

Great location and great staff. Boardwalk is right across and restaurants are in abundance. Don't forget to check out the Queen Mary ship as well - great and spooky experience. The area is a great location to do your daily walking exercise with great views and clean environment.

I stayed at the Hyatt for a conference at the convention center. Upon arrival, staff was helpful and friendly. I stayed in a Harbor view room, and must admit; when I walked through the door and saw the decor of the room, I actually said "wow" out loud. It was not a typical room as I had expected. It was... Couldn't have asked for a better room or better location. Was attending a convention at the convention center which is attached to the hotel- about a 2 minute walk. The lobby houses a small starbucks kiosk which is great for quick breakfast items and coffee in the morning. Every staff member we encountered from valet to bell services to front... More

I stayed here with a friend on our last night in Los Angeles before we drove to coachella. We wanted to escape the traffic in the morning. It was a nice place with free parking, and free WIFI which I wasn't used to going through LA. Would not recommend this location for those wanting to see LA since its far... More
