Although the lobby was being remodeled, the extra perks provided made it worthwhile! The hotel was very accommodating to their guests during this time. The rooms were beautiful, although they did not provide any type of refrigerator. The front desk, concierge, and housekeeping staff were wonderful- very friendly and efficient. The area is beautiful, close to the Queen Mary, with... More

Decided to do a nice getaway in Long Beach. The prices were very high for a decent hotel, so we used Hotwire, picked a 4 star hotel and let the Universe do the rest. We found out we would be staying at the Hyatt Regency, score! We didn't get there until late since we were at an art festival during... More

When booking our reservations I was not told about the remodeling that would be going on during our 9 day stay at the Hyatt Regency Long Beach. Being warned would have been a nice courtesy. The desk clerk at check-in was pleasant, and warned us of the Jazz concert that would be going on in the Lagoon area until 10:30... More

Very impressive hotel. First... I'll get to the 5th star I didn't give... Parking charges... Hate them... If you're going to charge, build it into the room price. Now, onto the good bits! We told the reception when checking in that it was a honeymoon so we were promptly upgraded to an end room. WOW! Room was huge and felt... More

Beautiful room with a harbor view, and very convenient and centrally located for all the excursions we did . We did Disney and Knottsberry farm. Some things were hit and miss, like the food. Room service was excellent, breakfast buffet was horrible. We are Hyatt a Platinum and have stayed at Hyatt all over the world / this was some... More

We had a suite which was fit our family of 5 perfectly. They had the pack and play ready for our little on already set up on arrival. Close to Queen Mary and transportation out to the island. Kids loved the pool.

I've stayed at this hotel for few days in March. Well the location as you can imagine is simply stunning at walking distance from the beautiful californian beach, the main attractions of the city and the conference center. The hotel itself is nice. A very big building with a beautiful outdoor swimmimg pool. Excellent breakfast. The atmosphere is not exactly... More

So we are on a road trip across the USA and our starting location was the Hyatt, we were greeted by a lovely guy who valet parked our car and made a fuss of us which was lovely considering the 24hrs we had been up by that point. The man at reception was again lovely and helpful and suggested some... More

We arrived at this hotel on July, the 25th and once there we were told that there were only three rooms available but we had booked three. It was not a fault that we had committed when booking but an organisation mistake of the hotel. We had to sleep four people in a suit, two of the in a couch... More

The check in went smoothly, and the staff was helpful and friendly. But walking up to the entrance, I was unimpressed. The Lobby also unimpressive. Everything seemed very bland, and stale. I had a room on the 14th floor with a view "sort of" of the harbor. there were little pieces of trash in the elevator. Also candy wrappers and... More
