Reasonable price accommodation and rooms were nice, comfy beds, clean and tidy. Unfortunately shower head was to low on wall for me to stand under which is a pain. I'm 6'2. TV signal is poor, beds linens had holes in, and internet was very poor, making it difficult to book things. Also very limited selection for breakfast.

This was supposed to be a non-smoking room...it was marked as a non-smoking room. As soon as we entered the hallway I was hit in the face with the smell of smoke. There were cigarette burns in the blanket...I couldn't use it so I froze to death for the two nights that I had to stay here. Gross unknown stains... More

After 20 Year we decided to return to Long Beach and we are looking for the old Vagabond in Redondo Beach. We dont't findet and we decided to go to Long Beach. The reception at the entrance deliberately deceiving at first glance might seem like a normal hotel and well maintained. Just go up the stairs, everything changes, as if... More

We booked a night at this hotel late at night, on our way to Long Beach. I have stayed at a Vagabond Inn in San Diego, and the hotel was great, so I took a chance with this one. The hotel is in a great location in relation to The Queen Mary, Convention Center, etc, but that is the only... More

Stayed at this property the night of February 6, 2014. This was the most digusting hotel stay I've ever experienced, seriously if you have choose between sleeping in the street and sleeping here, choose the street. Not only was the sink in the bathroom clogged and filled with stinky fetid water, the power outlets in the room (and for the... More

We stayed here due to its proximity to the Long Beach Marathon. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable. On the down side, the interior halls and the rooms are very disjointed in terms of decor, like the place has been rehabbed piecemeal by someone with little to no taste whatsoever. Furthermore, little insects with wings fell on me... More

My family was traveling with a friend who was on a budget, and plus, our trip was pretty much an impromptu fishing trip, so we booked two rooms at this motel thinking that it would be decent like another Vagabond in LA which we frequently stay at. Nope, we were wrong. Not only did the motel have a strange smell,... More

The hotel is at the low price end for downtown Long Beach and it is good for budget travel. It is close to the conventional center, downtown entertainment and the beach. The management puts significant efforts to keep it clean but downtown Long Beach is infestated with cockroaches. You walk on the street and you see them smashed everywhere. Do... More

A friend convinced me to stay at this hotel due to the price... but at the end of our stay, it was not worthy! I had never seen such an un-continental breakfast like that. Each morning we had to go to Starbuck's to grab a mug of a decent coffee and something to eat. The wifi was free, but it... More

Stayed at the Vagabond for 3 days/nights the last week of Sept.and found a motel that has improved itself and is quite nice for the price.Ample parking and close to Convention Center and all downtown attractions.I have stayed there before and this was a pleasant experience from what I saw then to the way it is now.Well worth the money
