Good location near bars and restaurants. Nice lobby, thought I was in the wrong hotel. Friendly staff. However, spent one night there and found myself with spider bites all over my arms and legs the next day.

Not a bad spot when staying in Long Beach. Great service staff. Had a nice visit to the area. The property is a little tired but not too tired. Our room was on the 8th floor and directly across from the service elevator. Hmm. Nice noise machine that begins around 7:30 AM. You might want to sleep in a lower... More

We stayed at the Marriott while attending the Long Beach Gran Prix. It was in a great location for the event. Check-in was easy, however we were surprised they raised the parking rates ($30 @ day!) just for the race weekend, even for guests. It seemed petty to us. The hotel and room was very clean and the on site... More

Hair in the bathtub, hair dryer had a whole burned through cord and did not work, the second evening came back to our hotel and there was a mouth piece that was not mine on the night stand, put us on a floor with a family reunion and the doors slammed till 3 am both nights.

The front desk staff is really friendly and efficient, which is about the only good thing I can say about this hotel. We had a Marriott Rewards member, confirmed, prepaid, guaranteed reservation (booked directly with the hotel) for a non-smoking "Guest room, 2 Queen, The Queen Mary view, Harbor view, Balcony". The only truth there was the two queen beds,... More

It is clearly a great location for a beach trip. Right in the thick of a lot of good places to walk to for dinner or even the mall. I unfortunately, saw that it was a Courtyard and thought it would be good for a business traveler. I was wrong. They only keep the coffee on until the restaurant opens,... More

second visit in the last couple of months for work. Stay at this hotel for Marriott nights and points only!! certainly don't expect the normal courtyard style. Location is good. the lobby nicely updated and the James Republic restaurant is a great plus. but that's where it ends. I stayed on the 6th floor and the hall to the rooms... More

OK, I stay at Marriot enough to k ow that these rooms need to be updated. However, for location and price rooms were clean and well maintained. Little noise from air in hall, whined a bit during our stay. Didn't bother me but it did bother my wife. Staff was outstanding. They were very respectful, kind and over the top... More

This was a perfectly acceptable hotel room. Very clean, plenty of towels and coffee in the room. I was a bit disappointed that they didn't have a better coffee "spread" in the lobby in the morning. The mattress (top)oo soft/squishy for my liking, but it was newer and firm overall. There was no fan in the bathroom and I couldn't get... More
