Worst hotel ever, terrible smell, had to change rooms, messed up the credit card payment, over charged, no water black water, terrible customer service. Terrible experience, we will never stay at this hotel again. The front desk was awful and presented terrible customer service waking us up in the middle of the night.

Loved this hotel. Within walking distance to office (1 mile but nice walk), close to grocery store if you're staying awhile (one block) and within walking distance to promenade and Pine Street with a wide variety of restaurants. Only thing that would have made it complete would have been a microwave. I was in town for work and it would... More

Really nothing to complain about with this hotel, other than the parking structure's elevator not working. Beyond that, the location is good...enough. It's a fairly good walk to the either the Convention Center or the main shopping/dining strip, but that shouldn't deter. Breakfast at the hotel's restaurant was quite good, as was the friendly service.

This place is close to most attractions. It's not located beach side but the beach can be walk in 5min. The lobby is warm and inviting and the staff are friendly. There's a store near the lobby that's open 24hrs. Checking in was a breeze. I had a two queen beds and the beds are comfortable. The room is equipped... More

My first stay here & am recommending this hotel. Front desk staff handled an unexpected power outage in the downtown Long Beach area very well. AC was off and cold soft drinks & water plus sandwiches were served in lobby while people waited for check in & power to be restored. Front desk man Chase Choi deserves a special kudos... More

Probably a better than a "3" but not quite a "4". Pros- friendly staff, great location, price (relative to other local hotels), restaurant, modern lobby, clean room, broken hair dryer replaced in minutes Cons- while clean, room was dated and had a bit of a musty odor, $19 a night for parking takes away from the good price, pool and... The Lobby has a WOW factor, the room was outdated, Karen was helpful in our check in. The parking elevator was OUT of ORDER at that time or they don't fix it so they'll use the VALET. If they knew it was out of service they should offer the guest to use the ground floor for parking or yet have... More

As we drove up to the hotel at almost midnight, I saw the hotel and was very surprise about the outer appearance. As we checked in, I was amazed at the uninviting entrance and lobby. The hallway carpets were unappealing and the wall paper looked ‘vintage.’ Got into the room and was beyond disappointed… We had the accessible unit which... More

This is a fantastic hotel, great location and relatively cheaper than others in the area. Most noticeable is the outstanding service from the staff. From the warm welcome at valet to the check in experience to the restaurant, the staff are SO friendly! The lobby and restaurant area look like they were recently renovated and have a great look and... More

I have been in Marriotts across the country and this is the first one I wanted to leave after just getting there. The lobby and restaurant were nice but the rooms need a lot of work. Exposed wiring at outlets, black and moldy caulking in bathroom. Old holes in walls filled but not sanded or painted properly. AC/heater starting to... More
