Then hotel is an old and refurbished and you would see a well designed front lobby and restaurant. The staff are professionals from the start. Very welcoming, secure and informative. The hotel location is the best as it is close to the beach, convention center, and promenade for local shopping. Lastly, they offer free bike rental.

Upon check-in at the Courtyard Downtown Long Beach, I knew I made the right choice for my accommodations. The staff was friendly and welcoming and I felt like an important guest. The location of the hotel is really good and the grounds, rooms, common areas and pool are clean and well maintained. The adjacent restaurant is amazing!

I was here on business for 3 nights. Here are my pros and cons. PROS -friendly staff -gym was a decent size and not busy -good location near restaurants, the beach, and shopping -free WiFi CONS -the restaurant is very expensive ($7 beer, $10 highballs) -the food provided for meetings is average (the tacos were below average)

Thank you for your recent review. We appreciate your kind words about our team and central downtown location. We're sorry that you found our prices high in the restaurant and that your catering experience did not exceed expectations as is our goal. We hope to have the opportunity of welcoming you back and wish you happy travels in the meantime. More

The staff was wonderful and accommodated an 845am check in on Saturday during the Long Beach Grand Prix Weekend. The whole hotel experience was 1st rate and we will stay again next year for the races. The 555 East Steakhouse next door has tasty steaks along with excellent service as well. Very close to the track.

very nice reception staff, good location downtown with all facilities nearby; Rooms are pleasant and quite nicely refurbished and clean. So overall a nice experience but we still found it quite pricey.

I stayed here for business , and it was a good choice. The staff at the desk were more than helpful - always offering service with a smile. The attached restaurant also fantastic - James Republic. Was very pleased to see they had free range eggs etc, and the food was all fresh and delicious. The room was spacious, and... More

I recently stayed at this hotel because I was attending a Welcome to Night Vale live show in San Pedro. I needed a hotel that was conveniently located near the public transit center, as a particular bus would leave me directly by the theater. Quinn at the front desk was very professional and efficient. The cleanliness of my room was... More

The Courtyard is a very nice hotel, conveniently located just a few blocks from the Long Beach Arena and Convention Center. You can easily walk to the Arena. There are a number of restaurants the area as well as a grocery store about a block away. There is no restaurant in the hotel itself. There is a small nook where... More

Business Meetings in and around the hotel for a few days - as well as the joy of watching the electric car racing on Saturday down on the street circuit - a short walk away from the hotel. The staff are all pleasant and hard-working, the food was fine ( only sampled breakfast ) they have some nice beer on... More
