I live in the Long Beach area and have stayed at several hotels and this one was one of the best by far. I compared room prices at nearby hotels and found that for a slightly higher cost, I was getting a much nicer room and overall experience. The hotel looks to be pretty new and is overall very clean... more
After reading many of the reviews here on TA, I was aware of the $10 per night parking fee so that wasn't a surprise as it had been to many of the other posters. I was there working a consumer show at the Long Beach Convention Center and the walk to the show was only about 10 minutes using the... more
We had stayed at this property two times during and after our Carnival Cruise to Mexico last month. Our room was immaculate. The room had a balcony the first time we were there and it overlooked an arts festival that that was going on in the evening. It was quite nice to see people meandering up and down the street.... more

Very nice hotel within easy walking distance to all the restaurants/bars on Pine Ave. Possibly the rooms with the balcony are slightly nicer than the others. Parking is not included in the room price and costs $10 per night. more
We flew in LGB from New York and picked this hotel as a one night stop before heading to Palm Desert. We got to the hotel at 11PM and checked in quickly. I had requested a roll-away bed and at check in was told sorry we do not have roll aways. I was asked if I had a car and... more
My husband attended a convention in Long Beach, and we wanted something smaller and a little further away from the big convention hotels. This hotel is new, immaculate and only a 10 minute walk to the convention center. The beds, linens, etc. were exceptional...and great showerhead. Breakfast was standard, but ample to get going for the day...make yourself waffles, cereals,... more
After my stay at the Vagabond Inn, I was pleasantly surprised with the Best Western Convention Center Inn. The building has been completely renovated and the rooms are all big and brand new. I arrived late night and was greeted by a very nice young lady at the reception desk. She was horrified when I told her about the mouse... more
I stayed at the Best Western at the Conference Center in Long Beach in September 2008. The hotel is in a great location both for business and leisure. I stayed for leisure and the hotel is a short walk from the harbour area and beach in Long Beach with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. The area feels safe and... more
