After my stay at the Vagabond Inn, I was pleasantly surprised with the Best Western Convention Center Inn. The building has been completely renovated and the rooms are all big and brand new. I arrived late night and was greeted by a very nice young lady at the reception desk. She was horrified when I told her about the mouse... more

I stayed at the Best Western at the Conference Center in Long Beach in September 2008. The hotel is in a great location both for business and leisure. I stayed for leisure and the hotel is a short walk from the harbour area and beach in Long Beach with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. The area feels safe and... more

We stayed here for 3 nights in 2008. While perfectly nice and clean, we ended up paying more in fees after our stay than we did for our actual nights spent in the hotel. Not to mention the horrible experience with the staff. One night during our stay we were woken up by a phone call from the "front desk"... more

Very nice property! We stayed here prior to a Carnival Cruise... Very nice hotel and a great location. We hit up the Aquarium on the Pacific... "Very Cool" also the surrounding areas... We had a great time. The rooms are nice but our shower smelled of urine. Overall we had a good stay! more

We were really happy with the quality of rooms at this Best Western property! We booked a 2 night stay for a post Carnival Cruise. The hotel was about a $10 taxi ride from the cruise terminal. The king size bed was so comfortable that I instantly fell asleep for a nap. The room was clean, modern, and newly redesigned.... more

Decent, basic hotel. Rooms: Some had balconies, ours did not. Rooms were clean, and the hotel is fairly new. Maid service was prompt and thorough each day. Breakfast - Cereal, bagels, yogurt, pastries, juices - better than some continental breakfasts I've had. Coffee is awful. Pool - More like a large tub. Was out of service one day while there... more

We spent 3 nights here and it was very comfortable. We were there attending a KCM convention so it was nice to have a chair & ottoman to relax in and not have to sit on the bed or in one of those "desk" chairs day after day when we were at the room. The area where the hotel was... more

When I booked, they didn't tell me the pool was closed (my kids were very displeased about that). They also charged 7 $/nite for parking (not mentioned in the confirmation). I think this is not very correct. more

We stayed at the Best Western Convention Center for 1 night before a cruise. Upon arriving at the Best Western, it has a very clean appearance. The hotel has parking available in a parking lot and garage facility. Parking is included with the price of the room. Check-in was a bit of a wait. We arrived at 3:30 on a... more

Beware to anyone who thinks they have a reservation at this hotel. We booked 2 rooms 6 months in advance (and called a week before to confirm) for a conference we were attending at the convention center. Upon our arrival, we were handed a letter stating that the hotel was overbooked and they were moving us to another Best Western.... more
