I have not yet stayed in the newly renovated Hotel Maya. However, I telephoned them yesterday due to having a pre-paid Hotel Voucher for 2 nights (17th/18th July) which stated the name of the old hotel ' Coast Hotel Long Beach'. I was rather worried that they would not recognise my voucher so I decided to get in touch to... more

Business travel, 1 night stay midweek. Easy to find, and right ON the water -- though the neighborhood absolutely doesn't encourage going out for a stroll, the balconies (most of which face the water) make the rooms a nice place to relax after a long day. Must mention the very, very helpful staff -- good with directions, willing to move... more

Avoid this hotel!!! My wife and I ended up staying there for 8 days and had the worst experience imaginable. We ended up changing rooms three times for various reasons that are attributable to poor management and the lack of interior investment! One of the rooms we were given had adjoining doors on either side, which were not even insulated.... more

this place is beautiful. its not enormous, but their rooms (i stayed in a room with a bay view, highly reccomended!), restaurant and lobby are elegant. the service is wonderful, everyone was helpful, and happy to serve. the food is also very good. the aquarium of the pacific is literally a five minute drive away (via free shuttle) and is... more

just returned from our trip to long beach. when making the reservation, i must have mention our 25th anniversary.... the hotel upgraded us to a wonderful rm on the 3rd fl. w/ a bay/city view..it was such a surprise....waiting in our rm was a fruit/cheese basket, a long beach memory box and a crystal cut glass wedding bell from the... more

When me and my boyfriend arrived at the Coast Hotel we were admittedly a little disapointed. There was some confusion with our room and the decor dates back to probably the 1980's....However, the beds are extremley comfortable, there is air con, excellent room service, a free shuttle bus that runs in and out of town every ten minutes, good food... more

Grand Terrace, CA, Long Beach Coast Hotel My husband and I are self-employed and are in great need of a getaway. I carved out 3 nights and 4 days and have booked a room at the Long Beach Coast Hotel. We haven't even stayed there yet and are extremely impressed with the level of the customer service. Something came up... more

Clean and comfy rooms, with a great view of the bay and Long Beach. Only thing that is tricky, is the freeways getting there, and you must pay to park in the hotel's parking lot. Above all, I would stay there again. more

I stayed here because I was warned that the nearby Queen Mary was not a good lodging choice. I'm glad I did. My fellow conference attendees were very mixed about their stay on the QM. I had a fine stay at the Coast Long beach hotel. Everything was perfect. There is a nearby resteraunt that is very good. The only... more

This was such a great place to stay. Nice location if you don't mind being away from the crowds and traffic of downtown. Had room service 2 nights. Food was good and brought quickly by friendly hotel staff. To top everything else, this is a pet friendly hotel. Lots of lawn and pathways for taking your dog for walks. Enjoyed... more
