I just completed my first 3-night visit/stay at theHyatt The Pike) on August 25, 2014. My purpose for this review is to compliment the front desk staff Niesha and Meghan. As a frequent business traveler customer service and comfort has a huge impact on the overall hotel experience. These ladies exemplified customer service and hospitality. Niesha was exceptional in all... More

I could not agree more with the other reviewers: the bed was very comfortable, just perfect firmness and the pillow sheets were satined. The room had a sitting area, a desk, a revolving TV to be able to watch from both the sitting area and bed. Room had nice decor, the office area had hardwood floor ( have not seen... More

Love love love this hotel. The do most right, try so hard at other stuff, but more importantly, they do everything they can to make you happy. We've been twice now and its consistently AMAZING how impressed we are. Roof pool rocks. Jazz band in the bar. 24 fitness center... sure, good stuff for a hotel. But how this hotel,... More

I'm a business traveler who is on the road most of the time. I look for hotels that are quiet, comfortable, have stand-up showers and cold a/c. How I rate: * - I left the hotel and went elsewhere ** - I stayed, but wouldn't return *** - Would return if I had to **** - Enjoyed the stay *****... More

From the moment I walked in the door I was amazed! The gentleman at the front (I only wish I could remember his name) who checked me in was not only friendly, but anxiously engaged. He was humorous, but not obnoxious. I was extremely tired and his excellent customer service exceeded expectations and launched the rest of a pleasant stay.... More

Super comfortable bed and awesome rain shower. Everything else is good. Soft towels, nice amenities. Location is in touristy area. Bar and restaurant in hotel. Pretty nice rooftop pool. Luxurious. I try and stay here when I'm in town. Call desk for delivered pizza, sandwiches, beer and wine too.

We stayed at this hotel for a week in July. I have mixed reviews. The positives: The hotel staff is very friendly and customer service oriented. Most all of them engaged in some sort of polite discussion with me and gave good tips on the area. I especially enjoyed talking with one of the food service employees that I seemed... More

This is your typical Hyatt hotel. Nice furnishings, bar, restaurant. There is no concierge. Have to ask questions through the front desk. Usually there is only one person working. I waited in line a lot. The bar does have a happy hour. Only certain drinks are reduced. The restaurant is ok. There are not a lot of options. The pool... More

Went for a weekend eve to have some fun. Truly right smack in the heart of downtown long beach. Nice but small roof top pool. Great self parking for $7/nite, but ends at 1 pm the next day which then incurs ridiculous hourly rates. Check in staff great, but morning desk didn't seem to care. The ambiance seems to going... Staff was fantastic. Front desk day lady, Niesha, and night guy trevon, we're super fun and accommodating. The elevator was annoying as you had to use your door card every time, I can understand for security, but still annoying. The roof top pool was awesome, go up there at 10 pm as there will be no one up there, nice... More
