I have to say that the recent stay at this location was quite pleasant!! The service was great, and to me great customer service says alot. We were looking for a place that was walking distance to the beach, and the Beach Plaza just happend to be steps from it. Very vintage, cool fresh feel. Definitely coming back. more

My stay at the Beach Plaza Hotel was nothing short of wonderful! I fell in love with the location! It was right on the beach, and I had the cutest little patio! My partner and I fell in love with the service as well! It was EXTREMELY gay friendly, and we don't find that too often! (It should be expected... more

Honestly if you are looking for a 5 star hotel this is not it. This is a quaint, fun, and humble motel for more carefree people. No offense to the other reviewers but I have never been an uptight and serious person so I truly enjoyed the hotel. The price is a steal for what you get. The rooms are... more

All of the reviews are accurate. It was hard to stay here. They staff really is friendly and helpful, but the motel needs major work. the rooms are really not that clean and everything is falling apart. The walls are paper thin. I heard everything from the room next door and everytime a car drove by, and every car that... more

We really enjoyed our stay. Had a nice romantic walk on the beach, and took the shuttle bus downtown to shop and go out to dinner / movie. The employees were very friendly and helpful as to suggesting a nice restaurant . I will be staying there next time in town. more

I had found this hotel online, without reading reviews I booked a stay for one night just so my significant other can get away. When we got there, parking was horrible, the room was dirty and it smelled so bad,the front desk didn't seem to be into her job most of the time and in her own world, they didn't give us the service... more

The hotel was built in 1942 as the Surf Hotel and Apartments. It is not a luxurious as many of the other hotels along the coast, but a great value for the location. Most rooms are either one-bedroom suites or mini suites with full kitchens. I stayed in a mini suite that did not have a kitchen, but had a... more

The king size bed in the first room we were put in was sunken in the middle. After having asked if there was another oom, we were told that there were two options. One was to stay in the beach view room with goes for 250.00 a night and we would have to pay the difference, or we could take... more

When I stayed there, they were paving half the parking lot so cars were parked almost on top of each other and blocking exits. I parked out on the city streets one night and got a ticket for being in a street sweeping area that had no sign. The mngr at Beach Plaza basically said: "Tough luck!" and wouldn't help... more
