While planning our trip to Mammoth Lakes, my boyfriend and I decided that it would be best if we split the driving in half and stay the night in a random town. Lone Pine was roughly half way between Los Angeles and Mammoth Lakes so we settled there. We left on Friday night at around 9 and had called in... More

Nice hotel in the charming little town of Line Pine in the shadow of Mt Whitney. The pool was clean and there were tables in the garden area to sit in the evening. Good breakfasts with lots of choice are included in the price. Only down side is its right on the edge of town so a walk to the... More

Our family enjoyed staying at the Best Western in Lone Pine. The view of the mountains was excellent. Hotel was clean and met our needs. Breakfast was good. We liked the pancake maker and viewing all the pictures they had in the breakfast area of celebrities who have either stayed at the hotel or have been in the area. Staff... More

We stayed at Best Western Lone Pine as a stop over between Vegas and Yosemite and in hindsight we wish we could have stayed a little longer. After Vegas, the personal customer service was noticeable and well received. The hotel rooms were really clean, had all amenities (eg fridge/wi fi etc) and the breakfast was one of the best we... My son, friend, and I recently used the Best Western as our "base" camp for a few days before climbing Mt. Whitney. The rooms were clean, breakfast was plentiful, and the employees were friendly. It was an easy drive to several other mountains used for acclimation hikes. Laundry machines were available, pool area relaxing, and close to town.

The rooms are spacious, area is quiet, food for breakfast is varied. If needing to use internet though plan on taking a nap.Staff is friendly and helpful. Price of room is high compared to ones in the other few towns in proximity, at least for my budget, but if you love Lone Pine and are visiting family, I guess you... More

we stayed at this establishment the night before hiking Mt. Whitney. The room was clean, good sized, and nice and cool. The staff was helpful and friendly....storing our food in a back room (no food up in the mountains due to bears)

Three friends and I stayed here before and after we climbed Mt Whitney. My friend and I shared a room with two queen beds. It was very spacious, had a microwave, coffee maker, small fridge, hair dryer, a tub and shower, two sinks and good quality towels. The beds were very comfortable. It also included a breakfast with cheese omelettes.... More
