My husband and I were headed to Mammoth and decided to leave a day early. We impulsively picked Lone Pine and chose the Dow Villa Motel for something like $50. Located in centre of town. Stayed in motel bit. Rooms clean,roomy and comfortable. Swimming pool/jacuzzi very relaxing, free internet. Try Jakes Saloon, or Alabmaha cafe for great food. more

They say they offer internet, but I'm not so sure. They kept saying they were trying to get it fixed. Other than that it was an ok stay. I was traveling with my dog and it was good for that. more
