We stayed overnight en route. It's on the main road which is quite busy, walking distance to the restaurants. Clean room, nice shower.Coffee facilities, microwave and fridge in room. Has swimming pool. Laundry facilities on site which is a bonus. Only complaint is very old linen and blanket which could really be upgraded.

We chose the place as it was close to Death Valley and had a pool, pool was fine just what we needed after a long ride. Conveniently located near to the bars on main street. Room was good size but a little tired but it was clean.

We stayed just one night and that we enough- place is good to prepare death valley trip - the very old fashion room was not very clean and the strong inside odour was difficult to deal with. We had to start the A/C and go to the McDonalds. It's a pity because it was not cheap and with some efforts... More

Stayed for just the one night as part of a road trip. Met our needs perfectly with simple but clean and tidy accommodation. Parking lot would be a little crowded if the motel is full, and the pool isn't huge....but I'd consider a pool at a motel to be something of a bonus anyway. I tried it first thing in... More

Stayed for just 1 night at this motel, in a room in a back corner with a view of Mount Whitney, I think. Also a glimpse of the skateboard park behind the motel. Clean and cozy, just what we were looking for as a starting point for our tour of Death Valley. It was around 10/14/2013. Had sandwiches for dinner... More

Our accommodation in Death Valley was cancelled at the last minute due to the Government shutdown, so we had to find something between Yosemite and Las Vegas, at short notice. The room we had contained 3 double beds all in one room, but given we arrived at the motel about 5pm, and left at 8.30 the next morning, this was... More

After a hot day in Death Valley, we ended up at Trails Motel. Room was a bit small. Don't hope for too much here, it has the very basics, that's all. Did enjoyed the small swimming pool. Water was cool but very clean. There is a patio set in a corner of the parking, a bit run down and dirty.... More

An adequate motel with clean if smaller rooms.Well placed for the small town's eateries and the great Film Museum next door. A few minutes drive behind the hotel takes you up to the fantastic hills where many western films and adverts have been shot. The scenery is stunning and not to be missed as can be visited within an hour.

We just wanted to express our gratitude with Margaritia (sorry if i misspelled ur name). We r climbing Mt. Whitney this fall and it happens to be the same time as the film festival. Trying to find a room was quite a challenge due to the timing. When I called and told her our story she found us a room... More
