Excellent accommodations & attentive staff. Hotels in Solvang were booked for Mother's Day and a half-marathon race on Saturday, and the Embassy Suites in Lompoc is an excellent alternative. There are many good restaurants within walking distance, including some next door.

The hotel is very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The full cooked to order breakfast was a plus. The dining area was large and comfortable. The pool/spa area was very nice and the garden area with a little pond was lovely. We enjoyed our stay very much.

One reason to stay at this hotel - Sonny! One of the busiest Hilton employees I've ever known and the best breakfast omelets I've ever had! The rooms are nice too! The weather in the area is always nice.

This hotel is in dire need of a renovation; non-smoking room smell like an ashtray; possibly the worst Embassy Suites I've stayed at. Hotel staff was nice, the only reason I'm giving the hotel two stars.
