The positive was Lolita at the front desk. She was friendly, kind and always smiling, very efficient. The cons are too many to list without being redundant to other posts. Believe everything you read about dirty, broken, etc. I immediately noticed upon entering the room that 1) it was large for a motel room, 2) the window was open, 3)... More

We got room for $44, and no extra charge for our two dogs. We asked for downstairs due to knee surgery and got it. Very friendly checkin and the room was ready. We were sandwiched in between a huge construction crew with all their trucks. The trucks were backed in to their parking spots giving us about a space of... More

If you could get a room cheap (under $50), maybe go for it. We had a sink that wouldn't drain, broken thermostat, no AC, & a bedside light that was burnt out. Not happy with the quality. :( Luckily we only stayed a night!

We stayed here for one night in the summer and we really liked it. The room was big and clean and they serve a small breakfast in the morning. We liked the location - on our trip on Highway 1 we stopped here after visiting solvang. In solvang the hotels are quite expenssive so it was worth the 25 minutes... More

You get what you pay for. In the summer when the rates are double, I likely would not stay there because you can get better places for the same rate. At $44, you can't complain much. The rooms are clean except for the carpets. The interior hallway carpets are super dirty. Not much of a breakfast, which is ok at... More

Good location but the room was smelly and the carpet was filthy. We have one medium and one small dog and they charge $ for each dog and each night. I thought that was unreasonable, after all, the dogs are already in the room and housekeeping won't be doing anything but making the beds and changing towels. Beds were very... More

The location is pretty good. Shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. The room did not have functioning air/heat. It was a bit chilly in the room and there wasn't a way to warm it up. The room did have a hair dryer (bonus for me). The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were like rocks. I could hear people... More

I think this place because of stayed here before and at the time it was rather clean and decent. This time around the place was a little on the shopworn side. As someone mentioned in the previous review, the rug was stained the chair was stained and the place is clean but not great. If I have to come back... More

I needed a room at the last minute for Labor Day Weekend and with lots of "no vacancies" I chose this motel based on the reviews. Pros: They had a vacancy, and they moved reservations around to give my elderly dad a ground floor room. The front desk clerk was courteous and efficient. Cons: The carpet was stained and squishy... Nothing to complain about with this motel. Our ground-floor room was large and bright, with parking right outside the door, which made loading and unloading the car a breeze. The king bed was very comfortable; bedding, drapes and carpet all seemed quite new; the microwave and fridge worked well; there was plenty of hot water in the shower (no tub);... More
