We celebrated my friend's 55 birthday here last night. Started out in the bar, then sat in the hot tub, then headed to the restaurant for their pasta night, (Very good) then some in our party headed for the casino. Other than the casino being filled with cigarette smoke, everything was delightful! We had a great time!

Restaurant was nice, Tuesday night prime rib excellent. The hotel was nice but ask for a Valley view. Service was okay depending on where you're at in the building. But when you go into the casino it has a serious smoke problem, and if you go into the bar it's far worse. And it's the only casino I know of... More

Hi Rocky, Thanks for the review letting us know how we did. Glad to hear you enjoyed the Tuesday Night Prime Rib special. It's one of my favorites too. You'll be happy to know that we are doing a renovation this summer and one of the top focal points of this work is a new HVAC system to reduce the... More

This would be a great hotel if it where not for the smell of smoke. The first thing to greet you when you get on the elevator was the smell of smoke. The lobby was not to bad but there is no way i could spend any time in the casino as the smell was so bad. Its sad that... More

Based upon all the casinos I have visited over the years Bear River casino takes the prize for rudeness and terrible service. I was served frozen carrots with my dinner, notified the server and instead of offering a replacement of my side or a comp they just handed me the bill. Also their security staff likes to take their job... More

Since my last review was pretty negative I thought it only decent to give the place another try.....we were invited to a friends holiday party as part of a big group. The meals were ordered way in advance, you'd think this would give them enough time to figure out how to prepare them! Funny thing, there are artistic representations of... More

Clean, comfortable room, even if half-door on shower allows water to spill onto bathroom floor. Some residual smell of smoke emanating from casino, and some noise from other rooms. Main restaurant provides good value, with large portions of decent food at reasonable prices. Swimming pool? An over-sized bathtub, maybe. Staff was friendly and helpful at check-in, but when I called back... More

We stayed here as a one night stopping point on a road trip. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Check-in and check-out was smooth and easy. The room was warmly decorated and the bed/pillow were comfortable. We had a connecting room and I will say that I could hear people in the other room along with outside noise...I think... More

Hi KelliBales, Thanks for staying with us and taking a moment to leave a review about your experience. We're glad to hear that overall, it was pleasant. From Portland on the way to San Francisco, we talked to a police man at a rest area, he told us about this new casino hotel, we stayed there over night. Good choice, thanks to the police man. The room was new and clean, price was right. the restaurant is in the building. We had a great stay.
