Although the hotel is kind of old, the rooms were clean, well provisioned with coffee, bottled water, etc, and the beds very comfy! The manager was very helpful and accomodating. Would definately stay here again.

The nighttime receptionist was a little hard to understand, I left not knowing if he understood me either. The room was clean and across the road from a very big safeways. Even had an outdoor pool but we didnt have time to use it.

Small room -- just barely large enough for the king-size bed. It helps that there's only one story (no upstairs). Soft mattress. TV remote needed some fondling to get the Cable box in sync with the TV. MiniFridge didn't have a chiller (for Blue Ice blocks). CVS/Safeway across the street. Pedestrian-friendly "downtown Livermore" just a few blocks away. Friendly staff.

I learned my lesson at this hotel - check if the reviewers are local to the hotel, becuase they are probably leaving misleading posisitve reviews for the property. This is a typical 1950's Route 66 side-of-the-highway motel. It is extremely outdated. Very loud at night. Pros - Great Showerhead, Fast Wireles Internet, Very Friendly Staff Cons - Decor and furniture... More

I travel all over the States--- The Rooms are Clean, The Service is Top Shelf- Pricing is Reasonable------ Close to Downtown where a miriad of cafes and 'Old Town' atmosphere abounds. GOOD STOP!

In my position as a professional baseball scout and before that as a major league player I have literally stayed at thousands of hotels and motels. I cannot overstate the frequency of problems I have encountered regardless of price in this regard. Additiomally, In the East Bay of the San Francisco Bay Area I have practically stayed at aime or... This hotel is really great and very homey. The people who run it are very kind. It's so near downtown that we would always just walk around. Plus, their showers are amazing!

The location of Americas Best Value Inn, Livermore is perfect. Just a few blocks from a slew of restaurants and shops and across the street from Orchard Supply and Hardware. What more could you want. Mike and Mina Shah are most hospitable. They made me feel so welcome that I felt like an honored guest that was using a spare... More

The service is excelent. The room is always clean. Microwave and minirefri works pretty fine. Location is great, only 3 or 4 blocks form dowtown. Just across the street from Safeway! We are from Mexico, and we always go there whenever we can. Wireless Internet works fine. We may suggest firmer beds. We love this place!

While this is not the most upscale hotel/motel in Livermore, it's my favorite. It is the only hotel within walking distance of the downtown area and is, conveniently, across the street from CVS and Safeway. The rates are very good.
