We just returned from staying in Rose cottage and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The staff was very accommodating and welcoming. Our dogs were with us and were also treated wonderfully, with little welcome packages for each. The cottage had everything we needed, and an awesome ocean view especially from the cozy front porch. I enjoyed relaxing with a cup... More

Only complaint I have is that I wish we could have stayed for more than one day! I was entertaining international guests that were on their anniversary and we chose to stay in the Fuchsia cottage because it said it could accommodate four people. I was concerned when I made the booking because you "never know" but I was pleasantly... More

My girlfriend and I had a wonderfully relaxing stay at the Heather Cottage, which afforded us a great opportunity to check out the many beautiful sites and excellent food up and down the Mendocino Coast. The cottage is cozy and comfortable, and completely silent at night. Hummingbirds, wild deer, and beautiful plants abound on the property. We had fabulous massages... More

Fantastic! We were in quite a jam and Sandy really went above and beyond to help us out. Looking at the stars from the hot tub with a glass of wine was the highlight of the trip. I am looking forward to the next visit.

My wife, Golden Retriever (Molly) and I stayed here over the weekend and had a great time. Lovely rooms with an ocean view. A little bit of highway noise during the day but at night not a problem. My wife got a massage and I went fishing. Doesn't get better than that. The people who work there are very polite... More

We were looking forward to our 2 day stay relaxing and viewing the ocean. So we were disappointed when we arrived to find that the Inn is on the opposite side of the main room from the ocean and that Fuchsia Cottage was not even in the front row of cottage but the second row back. In fact to see... More

Thank-you for taking the time to write, we appreciate all of our guest’s feedback! For our future guests, there are two maps posted on our website one showing the arrangement of our cottages over our 9 acre property and the second showing the inn’s location in relation to the road and the Pacific. I’ve met with our groundskeeper and we... More

My daughter and I recently stayed in the Buckhorn Cove room. It was delightful! We had a big, clean room with an ocean view for under $200. Special touches make you feel welcomed such as a personal note and a bottle of wine, along with little conveniences like a small fridge and full coffee maker. The 9 acre property is... More

Our visit at the Inn at Schoolhouse Creek was extremely special. We had a great room with a full view of the ocean which was great to wake up too. The room was charming and the bed was very comfortable. The walls are little thin, if you get what I am saying, but the overall experience was worth the trip.... More

My husband and I celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary by staying at the Sea Cloud and it was exactly what we wanted/needed. We sat for hours drinking champagne in the hot tub and watching the AMAZING view of the ocean. We were so glad we chose to stay in this cottage rather than at the Inn itself (which does look... More

Just a little longer than a week ago we came back from an absolutely amazing place !! We had booked into one the 2 cottages sitting right on a cliff being private and overlooking the ocean. Due to a technical issue at "Seacloud" we had originally booked, we were moved into the other cottage "Shangri-la" without any additional charges. The... More
