Mary seriously has an amazing place and great operation in this quaint little mountain area. She was also a life saver in accommodating me and my group who were going to backpack in Trinity Alps for a few days (even going and picking up some equipment for us from the local post office we had to ship there). I will... More

On our weekend trip to explore the nearby Trinity Alps, Mary made us very welcome at her classy Heritage Guest House in lovely Lewiston. We felt so at home in her beautiful house with its large decks, sweeping views, and peaceful setting. Our bedroom with adjoining bath was comfortable, spacious, & very private. Breakfasts were great-- best waffles, ever! Mary... More

Spent the night at this quiet, restful hideaway. The accomodations were excellent, the hostess was very gracious and accomodating, and the breakfast cusine was fabulous. Our stay could not have been better. George & Mary Jane

We were not convinced that we had done the right thing booking this remote B&B but it turned out to be a splendid choice for us. It is a very spacious modern house, with a huge living area and big decks overlooking the nearby river valley. It is right off the beaten track, but really not hard to find. Owner... More

My husband and I stayed at the Heritage Guest House recently and enjoyed a good and healthy breakfast after sleeping in a cozy and warm bedroom with en suite bathroom. Location is good in the mountains with many recreational opportunities available in the surrounding area. The unique design lay of the house itself is more than suitable for a family... More

We're not B&B people but this place was appealing. The scenery, the house and hospitality were all wonderful. It is a small operation even if the house itself is large and dramatic so the whole trip was enhanced by the intimacy that Mary creates. Finally, and to us as importantly, it is kid and dog friendly, especially with the host... More

I have just returned from a 3 night stay at Heritage Guest House in Lewiston...very reasonably priced--a B&B with excellent food,. This place is unbelievable: A unique structure, sitting on a mountain knoll with a huge deck overlooking the Trinity River. I highly recommend it.

Beautiful location, lovely house. Quiet, tasteful decor, interesting angles in the construction, we enjoyed the house as much as the grounds. Took a walk through the woods, sat and read in the comfortable living room at night. Quiet place with a good feel. Mary was very hospitable. She served fine food and was most welcoming. Game room and other amenities... More
