We had a great stay in the Carriage Suite - loads of space, the private deck with your own private humming birds! was a nice touch, even though there were a few loose tiles so part of it was cordoned off - but I'm sure they will have been repaired by now. The breakfasts were outstanding, and also lovely to... More

My husband and I stayed at the Plantation Inn during our visit to Sequoia National Park. I was skeptical when I looked at the website and saw that there was a Gone With The Wind theme - because it just seemed odd and without relevance - but it was the only thing available in the area. Well, I should have... More

This B&B was very disappointing in that the space was too small with nowhere to sit except the bed. The floor was slanted on an angle (bizarre), and our room theme, Rhett Butler, which sounds romantic, was not. It was faded, tacky, and badly in need of updating. That said, the breakfast was amazing, with homemade granola, "eggy"plant parmesan and... More

We stayed one night on our way to Sequoia having driven up from LA. We were made very welcome by one of the innkeeping staff (not the owners). The garden is superb - a lovely place to relax after a drive, and also wonderful to watch the stars after dinner. The pool was clean and a pleasant temperature. There's a... More

We stayed for three nights in the Aunt Pittypat room. It's an excellent choice because it's away from any noise in the main house (where most of the rooms are located) in what looks to have been formerly a pool house. This lovely home has been decorated with a Gone with the Wind theme in mind. Our room was clean... More

We stayed here after visiting Sequoia NP last year. I found the whole experience strange, especially as we were the only people staying that night so were left completely alone in the house. Our room was small and stuffy with a bath in the middle in which it was almost impossible to take a shower in without being attacked by... More

We had problems with our luggage in San Francisco that delayed our arrival at the Inn until 1am in the morning. The staff was very accommodating to our late arrival and made sure we would have access to our room that late. We were cheerfully greeted the next morning to a great breakfast from our hosts. In fact the breakfasts... More

This property is particularly easy to recommend. The rooms are decorated with a "Gone With the Wind" theme. There are a great pool and sauna and, oh, the _breakfasts_ - deliciously different daily, with fresh squeezed orange juice. Chef Marie and Scott are very gracious and helpful. Go no where else, if in the area.

My wife and I have stayed at The Plantation several times in the last 5 years. When we would go up to see our son at Cal State Fresno, we would sometimes stay the 45 minute drive away at the B&B instead of staying in Fresno. We have stayed in several rooms and have enjoyed all of them. The house... More

I would not recommend staying at the plantation bed and breakfast. We had reservations for two nights and stayed in Melanie. The room had squeeky floors and had NO privacy being that your bathroom was basically down the hall. The room was so small and was right up against two other rooms where you could hear everything that was going... More
