We had a great time at the Inn. The owners were so nice and friendly. Breakfast was marvelous and the hot tub at night under the stars was blissfully romantic. I only wish that we had stayed another night!

Based upon the reviews we had read, we booked three nights at the Plantation (special buy 2 nights, get 1 free). We arrived late on Friday night and were shocked with our accommodations. We were in Mammie's room. The room was VERY small. The attached bathroom is nothing more than a closet. The shower was so small, you could barely... More

My husband and I celebrated our one year wedding anniversary by traveling to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. We stayed at The Plantation Bed & Breakfast and loved it. Scott and Marie are warm and welcoming and the property is beautiful. Marie's breakfasts are delicious (I purchased her cookbook!) and Scott is more than happy to share a story... More

We really enjoyed our stay at the Plantation Bed and Breakfast. We only stayed one night, but we would have liked a few more there. First, the garden and grounds are beautiful and we were very fortunate to go in April because the air was intoxicatingly fragrant with the smell of Orange Blossoms and flowering jasmine. We opened the french... More

The website suggests this is a luxurious B&B, with themed rooms based on "Gone With The Wind". Fancying a bit of luxury we booked the most expensive room, "Scarlet O'Hara", expecting plush furnishings, heavy drapes etc. What we got was a medium sized room, full of kitsch cherubs (even on the light switch!), no hint of Scarlet except a grubby... This hotel is all about Scott and Marie and the realisation of their dream to make breakfasts. As guests we felt incidental to this, and everything else about the hotel suffers as a result. The 'hosts' only appear to be there for the breakfasts. We were not checked in by them and did not meet them until the 'main event'.... More

We have just returned from 3 wonderful nights at Plantation B and B during a 10 day trip driving (1400 Miles) in the beautiful Sierras of CA! We stayed here exactly 3 years ago and everything was as expected if not even BETTER than last time! Scott, Marie and their staff are very friendly and make sure that you are... More

the Plantation is the place to be. great hosts on Scott and Marie, wonderful setting, and great place to go explore Sequoia national Park. yes the accomodation may be " quaint" , but hey, this is doen with style.. Scott's qualities as host and Marie's cooking ability, compliment each other excellently. Make Plantation the place to visit and enjoy your... More

Whilst I wish Scott & Marie, (the owners) well I really do feel that they could spruce the place up! The decor is very tired, the lounge OMG, who really wants a "Gone With The Wind" theme in 2008? maybe 1978! We didn't like the breakfasts, not much choice and if you didn't like the cooked dishes (which were more... More

this place is small and quaint, with different themes for each room. we stayed in scarlet o'hara and it was wonderful - the room has a fireplace, jacuzzi in the bathroom, and french doors open to the cute veranda, which we enjoyed while sipping our wine. you might be visited by a black and white kitty who climbed up the...
