Clever wording and a wide angle lens over-embellish this establishment. I wish I had read the reviews on your website prior to booking. In hindsight, it appears the owners wrote all of the reviews on their website and the bnb.com site. Our stay was to have been three nights, but we shortened it to two because we were so MISERABLE.... more

We stayed 3 nights at the Plantation B&B and had a wonderful time. We stayed in both the Mammy room and Aunt Pitty Pat's due to some maintenance requred on the property and each was charming in its own way. We were inspired to watch GWTW during our stay. The owners, Scott and Marie are wonderful, warm and informative. Marie's... more

We had a great time at the Inn. The owners were so nice and friendly. Breakfast was marvelous and the hot tub at night under the stars was blissfully romantic. I only wish that we had stayed another night! more

Based upon the reviews we had read, we booked three nights at the Plantation (special buy 2 nights, get 1 free). We arrived late on Friday night and were shocked with our accommodations. We were in Mammie's room. The room was VERY small. The attached bathroom is nothing more than a closet. The shower was so small, you could barely... more

My husband and I celebrated our one year wedding anniversary by traveling to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. We stayed at The Plantation Bed & Breakfast and loved it. Scott and Marie are warm and welcoming and the property is beautiful. Marie's breakfasts are delicious (I purchased her cookbook!) and Scott is more than happy to share a story... more

We really enjoyed our stay at the Plantation Bed and Breakfast. We only stayed one night, but we would have liked a few more there. First, the garden and grounds are beautiful and we were very fortunate to go in April because the air was intoxicatingly fragrant with the smell of Orange Blossoms and flowering jasmine. We opened the french... more

The website suggests this is a luxurious B&B, with themed rooms based on "Gone With The Wind". Fancying a bit of luxury we booked the most expensive room, "Scarlet O'Hara", expecting plush furnishings, heavy drapes etc. What we got was a medium sized room, full of kitsch cherubs (even on the light switch!), no hint of Scarlet except a grubby... more

This hotel is all about Scott and Marie and the realisation of their dream to make breakfasts. As guests we felt incidental to this, and everything else about the hotel suffers as a result. The 'hosts' only appear to be there for the breakfasts. We were not checked in by them and did not meet them until the 'main event'.... more

Enjoyed the Plantation once again and had a great time. Relaxed by the pool (just perfect tempurature) and enjoyed watching the hummingbirds feed on trumpetvine surrounding the pool area. Scott and Marie really make you feel at home with their great sense of hospitality. Marie's breakfasts were fabulous and with Scott as her helper, they make a great team. Each... more

We have just returned from 3 wonderful nights at Plantation B and B during a 10 day trip driving (1400 Miles) in the beautiful Sierras of CA! We stayed here exactly 3 years ago and everything was as expected if not even BETTER than last time! Scott, Marie and their staff are very friendly and make sure that you are... more
