After a day in Sequoia National Park, this place was an unexpected gem. It was a unique place to stay...true to itself. The owners were very nice and welcoming. Once they saw I was with my 9 year old son they showed us an open room by the pool that they gave us a choice of switching to as they... More

After several hours of driving we were delighted to rest in this cool place and enjoyed the swimming pool, and the breakfast in the garden. The decoration was 100% Gone with the wind, maybe too much at some point , in a way it needs an update... I will recommend this place if you want to test something uncommon :)

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights in July to visit the nearby Parks. We had a large room on the front of the property. It was clean but we thought in needed updating. The room was noisy from the traffic on the main road in front. We chose this B&B because we thought it would be child... More

We spent two nights at Plantation Bed and Breakfast and stayed in the Ashley Wilkes room. The room was nice, clean, and comfortable. The shower is super tiny and the only thing wrong was that there wasn't any soap in the soap dispenser. Other than that, the room was great and the bed was very comfortable. The highlight was breakfast... More

The high points of the Plantation B&B are location and breakfast. Just 16 miles from the entrance to Sequoia National Park make it an ideal place to rest/relax after a day of hiking. The breakfast by Chef Lisa was the best we've had in any B&B (and we've visited many throughout the US). We enjoyed sitting outside and taking in... More

Despite the Gone With The Wind motif which I am not a fan of personally, this Inn is very charming, clean and the courtyards behind the Inn are breathtaking. I stayed here a few years back. I was on a road trip with my cousins and we had been driving all day and came upon this place. The barefoot hostess... More

The most prominent thing about the Plantation B&B is its "Gone With The Wind" motif, a theme that is played up quite a bit though not overdone ( and I say this as someone who never got into the novel or movie.) As you might have guessed, our reason for staying here was more for the location, which seemed to... More

Excellent location to Sequoia and Kings Canyon NP's. Good variety of rooms available for price and size. The one we stayed in was very comfortable and clean. Nice pool in the back and the owner is out there at 6 am keeping it clean. The breakfast - wow was it good. Bought their cookbook in hopes to replicate. Coffee available... More

Great place to stay. The hosts were perfect. They gave us plenty of space...I have been to some bed and breakfasts that watch every move you make. The room was nice and clean. The pool and hot tub was very nice. Breakfast was incredible. Pleasant music playing in the background. Fresh herbs as garnish. If you are in the area... More

After a long day's drive, we began to look for a place to stay before visiting Sequoia National Park. Places were filing up fast.A nice woman overheard my conversation about needing a room, and suggested "The Plantation". What a grand place! The property is very lush and romantic. Marie is a chef so breakfast was remarkable. After a great rest... More
