We stayed in the cabin 13 which could easily accomodate the 5 of us. Of course it is a bit rustic but you are not taken by surprise as it is clearly anniunced on the website. Room was clean, bed very comfortable and we had a delicious diner at the restaurant.

We stayed here for a night between Yosemite and Death Valley, we arrived late but were still greeted enthusiastically by staff and offered a home cooked dinner. We drank ice cold beers on the porch with a view of the lake. The lodge was clean with comfortable beds and a good hot shower. Although the road does pass by the... More

We stayed here three nights in the Piute Room. Our room was very clean, the bed was comfortable. Not a luxury hotel by any stretch of the imagination. Amenities were few; tiny slivers of soap, thin little towels and two little envelopes of shampoo, no coffee maker, two wire hangers in the closet, no tv, no phone and spotty internet.... More

With friends travelling from France, we booked this lodge in late October 2013. Unfortunatelly it was during the shutdown, so we were not able to make our journey to Yosemite nor Death Valley. We faced 2 different reactions : 1 - the Death valley lodge we had booked has anticipated and refund our deposit. 2 - Tioga lodge which kept... More

The Tioga Lodge was a nice surprise for us. It is directly across from Mono Lake and has motel rooms and individual little house-type rooms. We stayed a couple of nights in a little house called the Prospector. It was charming, one large room, nicely furnished, including a refrigerator, a large bathroom with a big tub and tiled sink counter.... More

Stayed one night here. I booked just the day before, the lady on the phone said there was just one room left, so I took it and paid the highest price. When I checked in, the sign said there was still a vacancy.... Did I get the most expensive room when there might have been a less expensive room available??... More

Our little cabin directly on Hwy 395 had a lovely view of the lake from the sitting room area where we ate our breakfast each day, and the noise from the heavy traffic subsided after dark. We were there in September so the lack of air conditioning wasn't a problem, and I didn't mind too much that my iPhone worked... More

Dingy, run down and on a noisy road. We stayed for one night in Rosa Mae. All accommodation is close to the very noisy main road. We could see a little of the lake, between the two cabins in front, and in the gaps between the frequent large trucks roaring past on the 395, from a tiny porch and could... More

The woman who owns it is incredibly helpful and intelligent and a wonderful host! She acted as the waitress too in the little dining room which served all healthy options and plenty of choice for vegetarians. A small plate of yummy potstickers was great for a nighttime snack. The cabins were cute and all lined up with a view of... More

This was my second stay at the lodge, and i've enjoyed both times. My main purposes for visiting the Lee Vining area were to explore Mono Lake & a touch of Yosemite. This lodge is just north of Lee Vining with easy drives south to the Mono Lake South Tufas (off east Hwy 120) and Yosemite via west Hwy 120.... More
