We spent one night in a motorhome here. The pull through site was level, had large shade trees, and a nice grassy area. Each site has a small picnic table. The staff was very friendly, and the restrooms/showers were immaculate.

Wonderful owners; family owned! Great location to access Yosemite by the east entrance. Just down the road from Mammoth, California. This park is filled with large mature trees so if you like to photo birds, you will have many models. Mono Lake is in close proximity (across the street). While I was there, there was a late spring snow storm... More

I read the 12 previous reviews ( from 2014 ) before I wrote this one. I wanted to compare them to our experience. We pulled in without reservations for a Thurs, Friday night stay. (Late Sept.) No problem. Paid by check. We only stay in RV Parks when we need, what I call "city" camping. Mono Vista is close walking... More

We rang in the morning to book a pitch but was told they don't as it is cash only. Fortunately they said they would hold a pitch until 6:00. $35 for a full hook up, two free tokens (4mins ea) for the first nights shower then you have to buy them. As the showers are large my wife and I... More

Great location for a stop over and a visit to Mono lake. We were camping and had come from Yosemite where the pitches were dirt - so the grassy site was very welcome. Bathrooms and showers were quite clean and new, although the showers had to be paid for.

This was a nice, clean, small park with free tokens for showers, nice laundry room, great location to Yosemite, easy walk to town and an amazing view of Mono Lake. Forewarned about cash only payment. We would stay again.

Driving an RV and renting a car from the only location around Yosemite, Mammoth Lakes, does not leave me with much choice. So, I leave the RV in Mono Vista RV, while driving around Yosemite and sleeping a couple of nights in the Yosemite Lodge. If I have ever seen a place that's money oriented, this is it! You check... We were given a tent site nr.6 which is without shade, we asked for another (only nr.2 has shade) and were told that somebody is coming but nobody came in the end. You really pay just for the site - showers are 1$ for 5 minutes of Hot water and wifi costs 4 for 24 hours. Even in you have... More

Stayed here for 3 nights to explore Yosemite via Tioga Pass. The RV Park itself was well run and very well maintained. Reservations were made in advance and handled very professionally. This RV Park does not accept credit cards so remember to have sufficient cash. Again we were advised of this when booking. Sites were large enough and very shaded... More

It is still a good stop...and also the only choice in this area...things to watch out for: Bears- they do not use bear proof trash cans which makes those who don't follow the "no smelly trash after 4pm" rule the hosts of a local bear..it also can get you in to trouble if the staff forgets to empty your trash...
