Driving an RV and renting a car from the only location around Yosemite, Mammoth Lakes, does not leave me with much choice. So, I leave the RV in Mono Vista RV, while driving around Yosemite and sleeping a couple of nights in the Yosemite Lodge. If I have ever seen a place that's money oriented, this is it! You check... We were given a tent site nr.6 which is without shade, we asked for another (only nr.2 has shade) and were told that somebody is coming but nobody came in the end. You really pay just for the site - showers are 1$ for 5 minutes of Hot water and wifi costs 4 for 24 hours. Even in you have... More

Stayed here for 3 nights to explore Yosemite via Tioga Pass. The RV Park itself was well run and very well maintained. Reservations were made in advance and handled very professionally. This RV Park does not accept credit cards so remember to have sufficient cash. Again we were advised of this when booking. Sites were large enough and very shaded... More

It is still a good stop...and also the only choice in this area...things to watch out for: Bears- they do not use bear proof trash cans which makes those who don't follow the "no smelly trash after 4pm" rule the hosts of a local bear..it also can get you in to trouble if the staff forgets to empty your trash... This park is right on the north edge of town and convenient to restaurants and the museum. Lots of lawn and shade here so it had a very pleasant ambiance. Our space was elec/water under several trees so we always had shade. There is a convenient dump station, on site store, ice, clean restrooms and showers and laundry. Staff was... More

It is what it is. Convenient location. Easy ingress/egress to the park. Once inside, pretty tight. Large rigs will likely find it difficult. Most (not all) of the staff were friendly and helpful. Prices in the store were surprisingly competitive. E.g. we needed an adapter for a 30-amp plug. The sporting goods/RV store in Lee Vining had one for $9.95.... More

This is a nice and affordable campground. The site is very clean. People are kind and the site is very close to the town. Do not hesitate to go to this campground if you're looking for a wild and quiet place.

The place is located conveniently in Lee Vining, CA giving access to the Mono Lake area, Bodie State Park, Yosemite, and the June Lake Loop. Pricing is ok. Our heartburn was finding out that showers had to be paid for. Surprisingly the toilets are free. Wifi is out as you have to pay a commercial carrier. We lucked out in... More

Didn't spend the night here, but camped nearby in the Tioga pass. As there are no showers in Tioga pass or in Yosemite, until you get to the Valley, at least two hours away, we headed into Lee Vining in search of a shower. Was sent to Mono Vista RV park but camp host. Showers were clean, hot water plentiful,... More

This park is exactly what it is. A very nice clean RV park that is a great place to book end your Yosemite Park. They only take check or cash. We rolled in late one Thursday evening and they were welcoming and courteous. You do need to make sure to purchase extra tokens for the showers however the five minute... More
