We are day hikers but not campers and so were so happy when we found this place right outside of the east entrance to Yosemite. It is just a couple miles past it- super convenient, especially when the only other options are down in Lee Vining. This is at the TOP of the pass so it's a very easy quick... More

On our way to Yosemite we spent one night here in one of the single rooms. Bed was comfortable although It can get very cold at night. The outside shower was experience...;) The staff at the cafe was very friendly and we could check in early. The food for dinner and breakfast was simple but tasty. Very good granola for... More

A friend and I stayed only one night in cabin three. The cabins are very old and I loved hearing the creek all night right outside the window and the location is perfect for the Tuolumne Meadow area! Bedding was clean and I was very comfortable. There were obvious cobwebs around the whole cabin that should have been cleaned and... More

We first stopped at Tioga Pass last year after an exhilarating though exhausting swim across Tenaya Lake. Staff gave us cocoa and warm blankets while we waited for a place in the cafe. We decided to return to stay. Our cabin was light, clean and set back from the road. Kitchen light, spacious, functional and pleasant to be in. Nearby... More

cozy clean cabin in great location. Very clean simple cabin with tiny but adequate bathroom. No cell or wi-fi (sign in office says "Talk to One Another" and no refrierator or cooking facilities but good restaurant attached to "resort" (i.e. cabin) serves good fresh American food. Gigantic portions. Very good deserts.

We stayed 2 nights in the motel room. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the service from the employees was excellent. We knew this would be a rustic place with minimal services, no phone or Internet. The location is the selling point. You are just outside the park in a beautiful location. If you want to enjoy Yosemite... More

Best way to visit the Sierra High Country in Yosemite for someone who does not want to camp. Historic old cabins. Rooms basic but all you are really looking for is a comfortable bed to sleep in, you are not looking for a vacation resort. And the restaurant is great for breakfast and dinner, basic but food cooked with flair... More

Let's see,...where to start. As far as the lodgings are concerned,..well they are rustic at best.Spotlessly clean and very comfortable.Nothing fancy but very adequate. No wi-fi don't know about cell phone service,no T.V.'s,...no phones.Perfect.As the sign by the register says; " No,we don't have wi-fi,......talk to each other" The restaurant serves the best meatloaf I have ever eaten.Everything is made right there.Fresh... Last year we stayed at the Tioga Pass Resort and we were in heaven. The staff is wonderful. The rooms are clean and beautiful. And the breakfast is delicious and all made to order. Best of all is the fact that you are right outside of Tuolumne Meadows which my family considers heaven on earth. The views from your rooms... More

We stayed Labor Day weekend at Tioga Pass Resort. TPR has 10 detached cabins, and 4 attached motel rooms, and is located 2 miles from the eastern entrance of Yosemite Park, near the top of Tioga Pass. It is 10 miles from Tuolumne Meadows Lodge, the closest lodging to the Tuolumne Meadows hiking area. Last year there was no internet... More
