After having a terrible experience at the nearby horrible Oxford Inn and Suites, we went in and asked for a room. They were so incredible nice - gave us a great room super clean! This is a very clean and new hotel in the Palmdale/Lancaster area. Since I travel to that area often for business and I usually like Marriott brands, I gave it a try. Very clean--I don't know how new it is (June 08), but it seemed almost "grand opening" clean. Mostly everything looked brand new. The paint even smelled fresh in the stair well. With a free breakfast, swimming pool (it's high desert here with very warm and dry air so, swimming is a must) and very comfortable, modern rooms I wouldn't stay anywhere else. With all of the various chain motels in town, my wife and I stayed here for one night and were very pleased that we did. more
