I am from Charlotte, NC and came to San Diego to visit family. While we were over there we wanted to do something fun so we decided to go to the casino. I am only 20 so the only casino near by was Barona. When I first caught glimpse of the casino, my jaw dropped! As we entered the casino,... more

No liquor in the casino, NOT a single bar to sit with friends and gamble and have a drink, not even beer/wine in the cafe - ludicrous! The only liquor is served in the Steak House(only open evenings and no carry out). This must be the only casino in the US too cheap to even buy a beer/wine license. Unless... more

We live in San Diego and just wanted to get away with our grown daughter for Christmas and golf. Knowing about the no alcohol policy we planned accordingly. Great standard room, lovely setting and warm thoughtful staff. Had a great Christmas Eve dinner (off the menu) at the steakhouse. The food was way above average with an impressive reasonably priced... more

My wife and I have stayed here once before and liked it so much we returned for three nights and four days. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the views on either side are nice, the staff is friendly and attentive. The entire facility is well maintained, manicured and clean. I loved the Wi-Fi internet access at Barona! The restaurants... more

My wife, my son and I recently spent two nights at the Barona Valley Ranch Hotel Casino as part of our family's 5 day 4 night vacation in San Diego. We paid $139 a night and what a bargain we got. We thoroughly enjoyed every single minute of our stay. It was fabulous. First of all, the drive to the... more

simple and sweet. No alcohol no dice. I live about an hour away from san diego and have been to almost every Indian reservation in the area. Though the accomodations are nice you will never find me gambling without a beer or jack and coke right next to me. They should advertise they dont serve alcohol on their adds before... more
