Spent 3 days at Barona celebrating our anniversary. What a wonderful experience. Staff at all levels were amazing. Showed extraordinary customer service. Food at Buffet was excellent with tons of choices. We had the ribeye at Italian Cucino. Cooked to perfection. Server John was excellent. Breakfast at Sage 2 mornings did not disappoint. Portions were very generous. The Machines played... More

We regularly travel 6 hours from Tucson to Lakeside, California to visit the Barona Resort and Casino. The Resort is a very pleasant property with comfortable well-appointed hotel rooms. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The Golf Course is consistently rated as one of the best courses in California. The Barona Casino is huge and has a large well-defined... More

Barona is a great place to stay if you want excellent food, nice mountain views, and enjoyable gambling! The rooms are spacious and clean. The people are friendly and helpful. It is secluded, and tranquil.

We shared a suite with an adjoining room as there was 5 of us. It was very comfortable and clean. Two of us went for a massage at the spa and it was excellent. We ate at the Sage restaurant in the Casino for dinner and breakfast, both were excellent. Great place to stay

If are in the San Diego area (or even LA) and are looking for a resort with golf or Casino or both, Barona is it. It feature a first class golf course which is usually not crowded (no waiting), a first class hotel at a moderate price and a casino which features both classical slot machines and new ones which... This is 5th year that we have stayed at Barona and celebrated the new year . The service is tops, slots were paying and the food was 5 star . From eating the street tacos at $1 and gelato for .50 a scoop to Italian and steakhouse 5 stars across the board .

Went to Barona recently firsr off everything from the Buffet, to the table games, to the food court is over priced. The staff are rude, the place is tacky and ungenue &it always reaks of cigarettes. Even got kicked out because I accidentally dropped a glass DON'T COME HERE

I've stayed in a lot of casinos during my gambling and traveling career. Almost every one has friendly staff overall or they wouldn't be in business. However, Barona comes out on top. Everyone looks you in the eye and says hi. The games all have a sticker letting you know to push the button for assistance if you need anything.... More

My company wont pay for a "casino" hotel, but I will! So even if I'm traveling for work, I'll pay out of my pocket. I LOVE this place! Great buffet and SUPER comfortable clean rooms! Yes, the road is a little scary (but I've driven ALOT worse going up to Big Bear) so try to get there before dark. The... More

The slots are on and off as expected. The food is great. Lunch buffet was one of the best I have been to. $1 tacos and cheap nachos at Three Amigos are great. Polar Bear mocha iced coffees are $1 for small, $200 for large and are delicious. Friendly staff, nice rooms.
