This has to be the worst hotel I have ever had the displeasure to stay in. We stayed here as we had failed to find anywhere else with availability quite late in the day in the general area. The whole place is run down and dirty looking - and that is just the outside! Our room was sad and scruffy... More

Stayed here once before...really the only place in the area. We were there once for a wedding and then for another family gathering. Since the first time they refurbed some of the rooms. WAY better...clean brighter fresher. New AC...which was really loud but worked. There was no phone in the room which was actually ok. Staff are very very down... More

I might start by saying that we have never stayed in the rooms, we have been to the restaurant numerous times so thought, at the very least I might comment on that part. They serve a great prime rib which over the years I almost always had until I decided to try their misc fish plates. They were great as... More

We stayed here one night based on Trip Advisor reviews; however, this is one place I will not go back to. While some of what was said is true - nice view of the lake, clean enough, friendly staff - a lot was left unsaid. The place is in need of some upgrades and there were problems. The TV only... More

The Lodge is a pretty intriguing place. A family run Lodge & Restaurant overlooking Lake Isabella offers friendly hospitality in clean & spacious rooms with tasty home cooked comfort food. Very friendly staff and beautiful view of the lake. If you are going river rafting this is the place, definitely a must after a day on the lake or rafting... More

We ended up stopping here as night was dropping hard and I was a little tentative on driving the dark, curvy road at night. This is an interesting place directly across from Lake Isabella and a campground, with a fantastic view. We saw one other motel about a mile down the road, and after that was about 32 miles before... We were on our way from San Jose to Death Valley and stayed in hotel just to have a good sleep. I called to reserve right from our way. It worked for our family with two kids(9 and 7yo). we had a room with one king and two twins - just perfect. You can get a dinner, which the lady(I... More

This place is all about LOCATION. We found it by chance on our way through the Sierra without any prebooked hotels. Usually we stay in 4 or 5 star properties, but Paradise Cove looked like a movie set from the street- so we gave it a try. Yes - it is not the Ritz. But: stay her for one night... More
