I stayed at this campground very early in the season, so I can't say what it's like when it's full. I can say that it is really big, 160 spaces, plus several group campsites in a separate area just down the road Although I was the only camper there for most of my stay, I did walk and bike around... We spent the last 3 days here, and while area is beautiful, the campground hosts closed half the camp ground? And the rest was full, and full. Not the experience we have had in the past. People were allowed to stay loud bordering on abnoxious until 4am. The lake is being drained for a Dam issue and won't be whole... More

We camped here Memorial Day Weekend mostly because it was one of the few campgrounds with site reservations available at the last minute. The campground is in a decent location on the shore of the lake. Some sites are close to Rt 155, so can have some car noise. Sites are generally pretty well spaced and decent size. It can... More

Camped Tillie with 11 people total at two different sites. The sites are FIRST COME FIRST SERVED! So, be sure to get there early so you can claim your spot. We were at sites 102 & 103 which were perfect and very large. Management comes around every-so-often to check people in. Short walk down to the lake. If you're into... More

So for our Summer camping trip my husband, daughter and I went to Lake Isabella, Tillie Creek Campground. We wanted to have a relaxing camping trip to get away from the stress of everyday life, but we also didn't want to drive too far. I have been told by many people that the area is nice and that we would... More

We stayed at Tillie Creek for Memorial Weekend. We had Group Campsite 1 at $150/night. They said the campsite held max 60 people and 30 cars. This site is huge! It might have been an acre. I could have had 150 on the site. There were about 6 picnic tables, a fire ring, 2 porta-potties, 2 gazabo picnic areas over... More

My wife and two young daughters camped with our friend and her young son for three nights in late June and early July at Tillie Creek Campground. This was our first time visiting and camping at Lake Isabella and wanted to get away from the LA area lakes. Lake Isabella is about an hour east of Bakersfield. The tempature was... More
