This is our second time staying here. Owners Elizabeth and Jose are constently upgrading the rooms and property. With a cold weekend in May, they had the heater on and warming the room. The large fireplace was just what we needed that weekend. The "new" room we had was comfortable, clean and large ( 2 queen beds). Our room had a coffee... More

This place is a first class dump. Do not be fool otherwise. The fact that TripAdvisor has given them any type of favorable rating only brings suspicion to their business practices. If you are unwilling to be warned then be prepare to be insulted, abused, along with the dirty decades old linen, horrible mattresses, huge gaps under the front doors... More

I've stayed here several times and every time Jose and Elizabeth, the owners, make me feel like family. The y are constantly concerned that everything is to my liking. The rates are reasonable. The cabins are cozy and well maintained. The grounds are breath taking, especially in the winter during Christmas. The grounds also have a beautiful place among the... More

Had a Groupon ($119). Drove up the mountain to stay here, looked cute on the outside. We arrived at 2:55, the maid called someone who spoke to me on the phone, told me check in is at 3 so she would be there in 10 minutes. One other couple was waiting for someone to come to the lodge to check... More

The manager Elizabeth told me that she would give me 7 nights in room 8 if I paid in cash. So I went to the bank and brought her the $500. She did not give me a receipt but I figured since I was a mountain nurse she was not going to take advantage of me. Well, that night my... More

It was New Years Day, I was taking my family up to the mountains on a whim from Orange Couny not knowing if we were going to fine lodging or not. Because there was stopped traffic going up to Big Bear we turned off to Lake Arrowhead and to our amazement saw a vacancy sign at the Tree Top Lodge.... More

Our room was over-decorated with flea market junk and THEN decorated for Christmas with a little fake tree, and a plastic wreath on the door obscuring the room number. OK, it's Lake Arrowhead but the price charged was way out of line for a tired, junky motel. Not a lodge, a motel. A tired, tacky motel.

My husband and I were up in Arrowhead just for the day, but ended up staying at the Treetop when it became too dark to drive down the unfamiliar mountain. Just outside of the Arrowhead village, nestled in tall trees and lit up with outstanding Fall lighting and decorations is the Treetop. The owners welcomed us and went out of... More

My husband and I stayed here for a little weekend getaway. I got the Groupon deal and was very pleased with the accommodations - you kind of have to expect a smaller and less luxurious room when you're getting a deal, but it looks like every room on this property is spacious and has great amenities. No, this isn't some... More
