The Inn at Laguna Beach was excellent. Super neat and clean rooms, exceptionally well appointed. Outstanding and very friendly staff. Perfect location for beach and town. Highly recommended. They do, however, charge $30 for parking and a resort fee of $15 per day which was not indicated in anything I saw beforehand.

This is a beautiful, (well-maintained, historic) property with a fantastic view of the ocean and a good location within walking distance of the main shopping area and restaurants. It has wonderful amenities (a delivery of gourmet cupcakes upon arrival, wine tasting in the evenings, coffee and newspaper in the morning), and comfortable rooms. I would give it five stars if... Stayed in Room #424. The floor had a weird uneven drop off that I nearly tripped on several times. We have stayed at this hotel a few times. I have had some pretty good rooms and some, like 424, that weren't so hot. I did request a higher floor away from traffic. I was pleased it was on the fourth... More

It is said that the ultimate recommendation is that one would return to an establishment. We do that with Inn at Laguna Beach. We're regulars. This latest visit was for our little family unit (2 humans and 2 dogs), to celebrate Christmas. The Laguna Vista Suite (#507) is fabulous. It's roomy (two queen beds), 180 degree balcony, breathtaking ocean views.... More

My rooms were small or the price, but it was clean, a comfortable bed, and the ocean was right outside. I've stayed here twice and been happy both times. It is an easy walk to the small downtown area.

Staff was extremely polite and helpful. Rooms were clean and large. We were on the 'ocean side' and the sounds of the waves were soothing. Within walking distance of best restaurants in Laguna-such as Carmelita's. Complimentary Starbucks in the lobby in the morning.

This hotel was a cute smaller hotel right on the coast. There are many positives. I will get the one negative out of the way, if you get a room with a door on the road, the road noise is bad. Often the wave noise cancelled it out, but if not, its pretty loud. For the positives, the staff was... More

Everything about the Inn is perfect: LOCATION is number one. It is ON the ocean NEXT TO the beach ACROSS FROM a Starbucks and a SHORT WALK to Forest Ave shops and restaurants (try Alessa). Staff were all so nice - room was great- complimentary wine on the ocean view patio - beautiful sunset - AWESOME!

Just stayed at the Inn for a friend's wedding on New Year's Eve. You can't beat the location and views from this hotel. Walk down the steps to the beach in minutes, downtown Laguna is only a short stroll away. Great photo spots everywhere as the hotel is literally on a bluff overlooking the ocean. My room was nice and... More

Nice location with good service, but the lack of good ocean views from my room, noise from adjacent rooms, and the just average quality of the rooms do not justify the high room prices. However, this hotel is within easy walking distance from the beaches, parks, and restaurants.
