We really enjoyed our stay at the Laguna Cliffs Inn. We arrived and since we were celebrating our anniversary, they upgraded us to a beautiful corner room with a gorgeous view of the ocean. They also brought by a box of the most delicious salted caramels ever. Very unexpected kindnesses that made our anniversary special. The room was very nice,... More

Overcharged for what it is. No amenities, no coffee, no lobby to speak of. Balcony was though a backdoor over a back alley, I had to call the front desk to find it. Just a repainted motel. Old bathrooms, the whole room smelled musty. No turn-down service Bed was comfortable, location ok, but walk up the hill. This worked out... More

We just returned from a 3-day stay at Laguna Cliffs Inn (our 2nd visit here) and while the upstairs room was very nice our stay wasn't as good as last time. The new owners have seen fit to remove most of the amenities that we really enjoyed during our December 2013 stay. Now they offer Croughnuts in the morning (yuck!!)... More

After a rather unpleasant experience and abrupt departure from the Art Hotel in Laguna Beach, I found the Laguna Cliffs Inn about a 1/2 mile away, closer to the center of town. It was a Saturday afternoon and I had no reservation. They had one room left and I was able to secure it at a reasonable price. The room... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Laguna Cliffs. The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly! In the morning, coffee and "croughnuts" (cross between doughnuts and croissants) are provided , and then freshly baked cookies in the afternoon. Beds are comfortable with quality bedding and pillows. Our rooms had Keurig coffeemakers, microwaves and mini-refrigerators. This is an older hotel that has... More

Very nice, clean, spacious room with nice furniture, comfortable bed and several soft, comfortable pillows, and a sitting area with table and chairs. Also on the first floor where our room was located, the terrace has small tables and chairs with beautiful landscaping and a feeling of privacy to enjoy sitting outside with your morning coffee. Once we brought carry... More

This was a very nice hotel, small, friendly and accommodating. Rooms are clean, quiet and loved the patio area to sit outside our rooms. The pool is very small, but the beach is so close, it didn't matter. Walking distance from cute shops and restaurants.

We were booked into this hotel because our original hotel was overbooked. All I have to say about that is thank you! This inn was the best place my husband and I stayed during our 12 day trip down the California coast. The room was beautifully furnished and everyone who worked there was as pleasant as the weather! We had... More

Although the Hotel is not very attractive from the outside, you can rest assured that you will have a warm welcome (Janie was very helpful in recommending and booking restaurants) and a nice room with very comfortable beds. The location is perfect to get to the park and sea (definitely consider this place to watch the fireworks on Independence day!).... More
