No AC, no ice, tv is snowy. Just walked in and the front desk gentleman said sorry we don't have someone manning the desk. Very poor service for and outdated room at an exorbitant price.

I grew up in the area and always thought of the place as a great landmark.
Well little did I know but the cool mission style building is probably the dirtiest, most undesirable hotel that I have been in just North of Mexico.
The biggest problem that it has is that the owner does not want to spend a dime...

Great location with for this retro hotel. Also, this hotel even has a private beach where you can reserve lounge chairs and have a drink with your feet in the beach sand. Also, you don't need a vehicle once you arrive because everything is within walking distance. It is better to get a room that overlooks or has a view...

I cannot even begin to describe the ICK factor of this hotel. It is SO OLD & outdated. I would LOVE to know what room the picture shown above or on their website is. Asked for beachview room and we were put in room 202. DUMP! Paint missing from so many spots. Bathroom door had a cut out so it...

My partner and I recently spent one night at Hotel Laguna and had a very enjoyable stay. We were without a car and found the location of the hotel was perfect for exploring Laguna Beach on foot. There are lots of restaurants, galleries and shops within minutes. We hope to stay at Hotel Laguna again when we can spend more...

I found this hotel to be an old ocean street Hotel. While I did find its oldness nostalgic, I found it hard to sleep because the room we got was near the bar/restaurant. And on Friday and Saturday night they play music that comes right through the floor. Finally stopped at midnight. This makes the western rooms, nearest the ocean...

The hotel is being rennovated, but we did not get a new room. The bathroom looked like a Motel 6 bathroom with the electrical plug near the floor and a very high mirror and no other mirror in the room. It looked like mold on the shower curtain and the window was broken and could have fallen from our second...

I could go on for days about this little Laguna Beach charmer!!! Having gone to school and lived in OC, I have had several opportunities to visit the Hotel Laguna. I live in LA now, but always make a point to stop in. Over the past year, they have truly undergone a makeover. It was always a great spot, but...

Yes this hotel is "old and outdated" but that is the charm of it. Small rooms, old furniture but who cares? Right on the beach in the middle of town with a fabulous view, delicious food, strong drinks in the bar. If you want a swanky experience go to the Ritz, but if you want an old school California experience...

We were so happy that we found this old grand dame of a hotel on Laguna beach. The rooms are small, not glamourous, but the view more than makes up for the size, ask for a room with a view. It is not a new or fancy hotel, but you can feel the ambiance and character and imagine what it...
