So close to everything, and just off the 24 freeway. I've stayed here for over two weeks on business this last month, and I'm glad I did. Quiet, elegant, free coffee in the morning, two restaurants that also supply room service. The crab & shrimp Louie is fabulous! Hot HOT Jacuzzi, heated pool - even in the winter time -... More

I found the Lafayette at the last minute as I was looking for a place to stay in the East Bay. Very cute property just a hop away from Oakland by car. I booked at their website and requested late check out in the notes. I arrived in the evening and was greeted by the friendly and professional front desk... More

We stayed here for a business trip. The hotel is very conveniently located to highways, but the drawback is that its location just off the highway is uninspiring. Rooms are very large, very clean, but the traditional decor is a little dated. Again, not bad, just a little tired. Bed was soft, comfortable and wonderful, with down comforters and down... More

Right off of 24, the hotel is convenient to a lot of East Bay cities and highways. We ended up with a great deal on SniqueAway for a last minute weekend stay in a King Fireplace room. Check in was easy, front desk was fairly friendly but neglected some basic information like their parking policy and cost and the complimentary... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for your kind comments regarding our hotel, we indeed are very pleased with the size of our guestrooms and comfortable beds. I do apologize for the fireplace room that was not aired out sufficiently, these rooms are quite popular and we need to more diligent in refreshing. I am happy that we were able to quickly... More

The Lafayette Park Hotel rolls out a red-carpet experience in the quaint, country type setting of the East Bay. Natives of the Bay Area, our family makes it a point to at the LPH whenever we visit. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is extremely professional and friendly. The amenities are great, especially the pool area and fitness... More

Both surprised and delighted to win this hotel on Priceline as I could not have afforded it otherwise! Professionally and courteously checked in by Roberta who allocated us a delightful room on the 3rd floor convenient to the spa and pool. The heated outdoor pool is open until mid night and excellent food is served in the bistro until 11pm.... More

I've wanted to stay in this hotel for years but I always felt the price was a bit steep. Got a deal on Expedia so I jump at the rate. We stayed in room 242 which is overlooking the freeway & I thought 'Oh, brother they stuck us in the bad room cause we booked through Expedia'. Well, I was... More

My wife and I went to the spa. We loved the room, loved the hotel, and loved the fact that it was quiet. They have a nice little restaurant next door and the room was great. We got a good deal with the Spa as part of the room rate and paid extra so both of us could get a... More

My husband and I stayed at the Lafayette Park Hotel for a one-night getaway. We live only a few miles away and thought it would be fun to spend a night away from home. We enjoyed the hotel's bar. Luis the bartender is a hoot! Great drinks, terrific bottle of wine and very good food. The hotel even has a... More
