I've been to the area many times and only recently discovered this gem. The hotel is quietly tucked away in the Lafayette hills near the scenic reservoir. Rooms are modest but clean. Rates are exceptionally reasonable for the area. Definite treasure. more

Our room smelled like urine. It was an upgrade from the room that smelled like natural gas. Room was dirty, had to wear sandals because the carpet was disgusting. Check-in took forever as they had to "make" our key. I would only suggest staying here if you drink enough in the evening that you wont notice what a disgusting place... more

Do not stay here......I live in the area and there is drug activity at this motel. The newspapers report a lot of police activity and drug busts here. And this is a very nice area of the Bay Area. Extremely expensive area to live in..... more

We expected to stay two weeks but stayed six weeks. It was wonderful to have a small kitchen for cooking and baking. Appliances aren't new but all worked just fine. Weekly rates are very reasonable. At weekly rates, you only get housekeeping once a week, but towels and sheets are available daily for the asking. The staff was always polite... more
