My husband and I just returned from La Quinta. We were there with about 150 other business associates. They put us all in the 400 section of Casitas, they had all been redone and were very comfortable. Even with us and two other large groups on site we still felt very secluded. The grounds are beautiful and clean. The food... More

I love this Hotel. I have stayed here 3 times, and it is truly a great getaway. The staff at the front desk is more like the staff for a motel than a 5 star resort. They promise what they don't deliver and appear to be ill equipped for their job for the most part. The morning of our departure... More

My expectations were pretty low given the bad reviews, and becuase the room price was more of what you would pay for a three star, rather than five star place. It exceeded my expectations. Grounds are beautiful. The spread-out casita style makes the place seem empty, quite and peaceful. Had zero noise from adjacent rooms (which I know was occupied... More

My wife and I stayed at LaQuinta to celebrate an anniversary. The stay was from Sunday through Thursday and we loved the privacy that was evident from a lack of people around the resort. Our room was a Starlight Casita in the 900 section. Very private and in 5 pool sessions we shared the facilities with a total of 6... More

We stayed at La Quinta Resort this past weekend for a good friend's wedding. The room rate was $140 per night. Check-in was so-so. We were greeted by the most enthusiastic bell captain who really made us feel welcome. Then unfortunately it started to go downhill from there. We booked our reservation through the wedding party, but at the check-in... More

Stayed here with two other couples (and two toddlers!) for the weekend of August 24-26. Likes: - Quiet, restful. - Old Hollywood style-spanish hacienda style (reminded me of older homes in Hollywood) - backdrop of San Jacinto Mountains is just lovely. - Beautiful grounds, lovely for walking in the early morning. - Lots of pools spread throughout resort, so not... Service in non-existant at the main pool. Broken lounge chairs, misters on cabanas that don't work, fans in cabanas don't work, pool in need of repair. There is no service unless you get up and get your own drink. When we finally got to our room, the Ginger Rogers Suite we were pleasantly surprised...until the crickets came out to greet... More

I booked a two night stay at AAA rate arriving July 19th. As previous reviews stated the grounds are outstanding, beautifully landscaped and immaculate. Check-in was efficient and easy. As a Hilton Diamond member I was e-mailed that I had a free upgrade from the Resort Casita to a Starlight Casita through the Nor1 system this hotel uses. Upon check-in... More

THier poolside villas and attentive staff make you feel like hollywood royalty from the 50's. The mountains create a beautiful backdrop while you are laying out soaking up the sun. It can get very hot in the summer months but the pool is where you will want to be. I have gone there three times in the past two years... More

This trip was planned to celebrate our five year anniversary/wife's birthday. The staff at the resort certainly did not disappoint. I made our reservation 3 months prior to our 2 night getaway through the resort's web site. I checked the hotel rate frequently on the web and twice it dropped. Both times, I called the resort and they lowered our... More
