We were very disappointed with our stay at La Quinta Resort. We booked a spa villa, but when we arrived at 3:10pm they told us our room wasn't ready yet. After sitting in our car for the next 40 min, we went back to the front desk. We were again told our room still wasn't ready, We explained we had... More

The resort is sprawling with many different options for accomodations. Overall, the property is sparkling clean and beautiful with dozens of private swimming pools, villas, a gorgeous spa and many water features and plentiful flowers among the lovely, manicured grounds. Several restauants and shops directly on property make it difficult to leave, especially in the sweltering heat. Staff is friendly... More

Overall, my experience at La Quinta was very nice. We were greeted in the lobby with cold juice and welcoming faces. Our room was very spacious, had a fireplace, very comfortable bed, and a huge bathroom. We were also just steps from an almost private pool (the resort didn't seem very full) and hot tub. We didn't have any issues... More

My husband and I booked a weekend stay at here during the first week of May. The room was very old and shabby. This place is in serious need of renovation. For the high price and the fact that its listed as a Waldorf Astoria hotel, I don't think its worth the money. I have stayed at other Waldorf Astoria... More

A couple of hours drive from San Diego, this quaint desert retreat was just what we wanted. We were in 2 rooms that were spacious and clean, with the larger room having a well appointed kitchen. Upon check-in, we were transported to our rooms by golf cart, showed where our parking spot was located and filled in on hotel info.... More

Booked with AMEX Platinum and were very dissappointed. Glorified Holiday Inn. You carry your own bags to you far away room. Large property. Kids everywhere, noisy. Room is in need of major renovation. Not clean. We checked out immediately. Away from town in Palm Springs. More

I felt I just spent 4 days during the week in a secluded 1920's/30's Hollywood movie studio backlot with VIP rooms called "Casitas"... and each with their own private and secluded pools. Amazing. We had a second floor Starlight Casita (900's) with the choice of at least 4 local pools that were all gorgeous and extremely quiet. The property at... More

There was absolutely no parking. Paying $200 a night for a room and can't even park your car. Villas are impossible to find, especially at night. Felt like I was at a college dorm....loud music and people up all night at the pool. Staying here currently and will never come back again More

First impresssions are five star: lovely landscaping, mellow Spanish colonial architecture. But our AC didn't work and took several visits from Maintenance before it kicked in, five hours later. The bathroom floor was so dirty I felt icky going in there barefoot. A shame because the unit was spacious, tastefully decorated, and included an electric fireplace and a patio on... More
