Everyone at the front desk was super nice except the black lady. She was very rude and alwsys on personal calls. She needs more training in customer service. Nancy the manager is great. Could not ask gor a better manager.

We booked 2 bedrooms for one night. The receptionist was very friendly, however the rooms need a lot of work. The first rooms smelled like cigarette so we were changed. The other two didn't smell great but at least not cigarettes. The floor was not super clean. The chairs and covers of the bed were dirty, the lock in the... More

On of the best motel 6's in town if a bit small the staff are Great and the Manager is a Dream! But no place to eat within walking distance. But a Denney's about two miles away. And several fast food places about a mile away.

This is the best motel ever ! I've been here about 1 1/2 months looking for a place to live for my dog Tupac and I which is very stressful thing anyway and the ladies at the front desk is just wonderful. I don't like to be disturbed and no one disturbs me here The manager Nancy is the greatest... More

If you want a decent-enough place to stay that saves you AT LEAST $50/night AND still be close-ish to San Diego, then this is the place for you! Make sure to read the list of "Amenities" before booking, otherwise, you'll be in for quite a surprise. It's rather Spartan inside; i.e. bring your own shampoo and conditioner bottles, as there... The positives are that this motel has the nicest staff I've ever met at any hotel. The other people staying in the hotel were quiet and nice. However, the room smelled so badly of mold that I needed to leave my window open the whole time I was there. It was choking, seriously. And on my last day, I saw... More

Tom Bodette the light was OFF at this Motel 6. I would avoid this place. Summer rate in San Diego was extremely high, compared to the following night, for us. Should have look elsewhere. Started with the front desk, eating candy and not being able to speak, without laughing or playing with the piece of candy. Gave us wrong directions... More

Before I begin, I just wanted to say that the best thing about this place was the staff. They were very nice when we first greeted and they called me later on to see if I was checked in all right. With that said, this place should probably be avoided. I think I ended up getting bad neighbors: they were... More

We needed a budget hotel for the weekend and this was it. The room was clean but had a bad smell when we first walked in, I'm pretty sure it was from the old AC unit, the smell did eventually get better. We loved that they are pet friendly and didn't have a pet fee. Don't expect a coffee maker... More
