We stayed in the 2 bedroom 2 bathroom loft. It was excellent. newly refurbished, spotlessly clean, log fire and excellent breakfast. The location is close to bars and restaurants and there is also a delivery service from some restaurants. Close to San Diego and La Jolla. An excellent choice! more

We spent 5 nights at the residence inn. The room was large, clean, great kitchen, comfortable bed, pull out sofa as expected. no dining area but that was ok. We're Gold members & booked 8 nights here on points starting Dec 27. Called to ask the cost of upgrading from studio to penthouse suite (their only other room option). This property's "penthouse suites" aren't part of the points program so we can't even pay the difference in value. To book a penthouse, we have to forgo using points altogether... more

Went to San Diego Zoo and had a blast. This place is ideally located between the San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park. It is about 3 miles from downtown La Jolla, but easy to reach by car. I was only disappointed that there was a kitchen but no dining table. We didn't eat in the hotel so didn't matter... more

This is a fabulous hotel! The rooms are spacious and clean (newly renovated). The hotel was really crowded (with sports teams) but the staff was extremely professional and always took care of our needs. Great service! The grounds were well kept and clean as well. Great place to stay while visiting San Diego/La Jolla area. Excellent full breakfast bar included, saved money on breakfasts & lunches! Nice outdoor pool and hot tub and rooms were recently remodeled. Very nice homey/private feel to them! more
