My husband and I celebrated our first anniversary here. We were not disappointed. From the top notch service to an unforgettable dining experience at A.R. Valentien, we would recommend The Lodge to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable weekend....it's luxurious and classy without being stuffy. Five stars all around. If you're looking for a place to enjoy wild nightlife... More

When seeking out the ideal spot to enjoy a 4-day spa retreat with my sister and daughters, we came across The Lodge. It met our needs perfectly! Luxury and then some! We found the staff to be accommodating, warm, and professional. This hotel is a gracious example of the Arts and Crafts Movement, and that quiet casual elegance is extended... More

I have stayed in a lot of places from Scotland to Mexico and have yet to find the level of service and attention to detail Torrey Pines offered. Perfect room, perfect dinning, perfect pool.

I stayed her for a few days R & R before a conference in San Diego. The staff were friendly and accomodating and the location is lovely (my room had a wonderful view across the golf course to the ocean. It is a bit off the beaten track if you don't want to drive much. The nearby beach at Torrey... More

The service at Torrey Pines will be hard to beat if you are competing. The pleasant staff is ready to open a door even if they are going in the opposite direction. The spa experience was excellent clean fresh with all the amenities including their facial washes and creams. The bed is super comfortable and the setting is breathtaking. There... More

I stayed here one night with my husband for a weekend getaway. The Lodge is a very unique, beautiful hotel -- as soon as we got onto the property, my husband said, "Wow, this really is a lodge." Every architectural detail was thought of, from the stained glass lamps in the room to the detail on the elevator doors. The... More

I've stayed at the resort several times over the last few years, the most recent being for the Del Mar Racetrack Opening Day. This is a quiet, peaceful hotel with incredible golf and ocean views. There are no white water ocean views as you are set back from the ocean, but there is a horizon-like view of the ocean and... More

As my traveling companion said, this is a hotel best suited for the just wed and nearly dead. The location and physical plant are both outstanding. However, because of its relative isolation, it was a bit surprising that over the Christmas Holidays there was no entertainment or really anything lively about the hotel. The service in both the bar and... More

If you love all things Arts & Crafts and you're looking for a special place to stay, the Torrey Pines Lodge is a class act. Service is exceptional. We felt pampered from check-in to check-out. The hotel is right on the golf course, with views across the greens to the ocean. We had a "Reserve King" room, which is one... More

We stayed at the Lodge on 11/06/10 to attend a wedding. The room, which was a standard room, was large, clean, well-appointed, and very comfortable. Detail such as eucalyptus bath amenities, chocolate, and complimentary Fiji water were waiting for us and were thoughtful touches. The food at he restaurant was delicious, and the room service coffee and breakfast, which were... More
