The hotel is under construction so there is dust everywhere. The rooms are smelly and poorly lit. Towels are so thin one needs 3 after a shower. Dining room is dismal and poorly lit, and nary a person eating there.

Amazing Service. Since the time we got there, everyone was so fantastic. Pool was small but still fun and quiet. They all had suggestions on where to go for dinner and site see. Very Hospitable. Would stay there again no question.

Folks, just stayed at the Marriot La Jolla this weekend and wanted to hopefully help anyone avoid this junkyard. Main issue here is value. There on business. Room was fine. No complaints. Not sure about the other reviews. Currently undergoing renovation construction. Noise never bothered me. Front desk ladies were great! Carolina I think. Meghan at the bar is really nice as well!

As you pull up to the hotel, you can see by the scaffolding surrounding the building that there is a major renovation, but the good news was that it was almost complete and the majority of what was left to do was on the outside and lobby.
