Fantastic Getaway, even if you live in town! Wanting to get away for your birthday can be hard if you have small kids. You want to get away, but travelling to far cuts into the fun, especially if you only have 24hours. The La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club was the perfect retreat. Choosing and oceanview room, we were very... More

My first visit to the LJBTC was a perfect experience. I stayed for a conference and then extended my stay for a mini-reunion. The rooms have been updated to be modern and provide all the necessities we have grown to desire such as flat screen TVs, bath products, high speed wireless, quality towels etc. The views are unsurpassed along with... We have stayed here 10+ times and we keep going back. We love the laid back atmosphere and you can't beat the proximity to the beach. We love it here! You are literally steps from the beach. We love to get a bonfire and BBQ for fun nights on the beach. If you are looking for a super modern hotel,... More

I have come here for over ten years for the tennis and the wonderful beach. This time we were disappointed in the organization of the tennis matches (or lack thereof) and the overall service. We had very spotty internet connection in our room, which is starting to look old and tired. Meal service trays were left outside rooms for days.... More

Great place to stay with family, with different interests. My husband "loved" the fact he could walk out the door to play golf a couple times a day. I and the teens walked out our door to hang on the beach. We felt it safe to let the teens wonder within the property while we ate at the restaurant by... More

I cannot say enough great things about this place. The room, location, staff, and service was excellent. Our room (#207) was a one bedroom condo style room with street view. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, blender, toaster, etc. A basket with Starbucks coffee, cocoa, and popcorn was refreshed each day by housekeeping. The unit was large,... More

I stayed at the La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club for a convention at the beginning of December. So many times I go to conventions with low expectations, but I was blown away by the scenery, the service and the food! I would definitely recommend this property for conventions, as well as leisure. I hope to go back for vacation... More

We stayed at the La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club while we were at the annual Father-son Hardcourt Tennis Championship at the hotel. We had a great time there and really enjoyed the proximity to the beach as well as the tennis courts. We stayed in one of the beachfront suites. The suite had a king-sized bed and a queen... More

We have always stayed at La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club when we go down for a family vacation. The hotel rooms are small, but the location is the best! You wake up to the beach that is only steps away from your room. If you enjoy tennis, strolls along the beach, swimming in the large pool or ocean and... More

Great place right on the beach, older rooms but excellently maintained. Cannot beat the tennis courts or the professionals. Could be more economically priced. More
