“Comfortable, great location”

This is another older property with a eclectic feel. It used to be apartments for older retired folks and you'll see that in the wider doors and other accessability features. Just stayed at Empress Hotel of La Jolla for 5 nights and would recommend. Had a nice room, comfortable bed, continental breakfasts, helpful/friendly staff. We know the area of La Jolla and think the location of the hotel is wonderful. The overall experience was quite satisfying.
