Seems like it would probably be a pretty good call, if not an excellent call, if you (1) have kids and (2) are visiting someone at UCSD. This 100% non-smoking claim is bunk. Again we booked in a hotel that said it was smoke free. Apparently smokers love to stay in non-smoking hotels because the rooms smell fresh. So, they go outside and smoke. They smoke at the entrances, the pool area and the walkways. A non-smoker has no place to go outside that is smoke free.... more

Either Starwood's quality has declined or this hotel should never be considered of Starwood caliber. My first clue was that my GPS still recognized this hotel as a Radisson.
