This place was decent for location but nothing that blows you away. Its convenient because of the electricity, clean bathrooms, onsite laundry and its on the river (however dock access was closed for plant restoration). Almost all RVs were parked but tents are welcome, spots are small numbered slots, a picnic table and fire pit...also nearly everyone is in their... More

Nestled on the Klamath River this site offers a peaceful location. Friendly welcoming hosts and well appointed facilities that are clean and well maintained. Community rooms and outdoor gathering spaces add to the ambiance. Conveniently located for Redwood National and State Parks, coastal drives and beaches.

This park was a little scary to get into with our 32' RV with small tow behind...a very sharp turn left us with only inches to spare. Park is a large flat grassy field (i.e.no privacy or ambience) overlooking river. Area by river has fire pits. Charged for wifi that was pretty useless. Bathrooms fine.

A full-time RV-er on my own, I found this the best kept park I have ever visited. Very open grass sites (though too close together), right on the river and well set for fishing. Great hosts and accommodating for visitors. Lots of flowers, clean showers, laundry. Limited cell and poor wi-fi, but that's down to the area.

We have been here several times. My husband really enjoys being so close to the river because he likes to fish. If you pay $5 extra you can get a river view. Its a friendly park if you are friendly which is pretty important because RVs are parked right next to each other on grass. The owners keep the place... More

We just spent 2 nights at the park and we had such a great time. The camp host's are so great and really go out of the way to provide great nightly things to do like s'mores around the campfire and morning coffee. This is a great location to stay for seeing the redwoods Or just walking the beach looking... More

Recently my family ( 2 toddler boys and wife) stayed here for 3 days. Our plan was to checkout the redwoods and do some site seeing. Everything worked out great ! This park is a short drive away from many sites and great hikes. It is right on the the river and just minutes away from the Smith River. The... More

This RV Park is right on the river, with many of the sites having a direct view. Wi-fi is available at each site, although it seemed a bit slow during my visit. Verizon cell phone reception was good to marginal, depending on location within the campground. Bathrooms and showers very spotlessly clean and maintained frequently. The host was very friendly... We have never stayed in a park with a more beautiful view. Parking spots are on mowed grass lawn, everything is first rate. Staff was friendly and helpful. We have simply never enjoyed an RV park more than this and plan to return to stay here again as we explore more of these fantastic surroundings.

Stayed at the RV park on Sept 25th and 26th. The area is picture perfect. The river is right behind the park and they have a good dock. I assume the fishing is great due to the location. The park is only 10 minutes from the giant Redwoods and they should not be missed. The only reason I would not... More
