This was an outdated motor lodge. Stopped Easter night so we could visit the Trees of Mystery the next morning. The restaurant never opened, we had a dinner of snacks from the car, we were pulling a trailer which was not convenient to drive somewhere for dinner or breakfast. New windows, bathroom was clean however, it should have had a... More

One standard room for 2x pax in September 2012. Nice simple spacious motor inn. Chose it because it was directly across the road from Trees of Mystery - and I'm guessing a lot of the trade is from this. Nothing to write home about, but nothing to complain about either. Much happier giving money (a reasonable price too!) to independent... More

We have been staying at the Motel Trees for 30+ years ... and the basic reasons were location and price. With the recent room remodel, I would now add the rooms. The room had two queens with a small dinette table and chairs, dresser, flat screen TV, closet area, and nice roomy modern bathroom with large walkin shower. Next door... More

Newly remodeled motel right across from the trees of mystery. Very clean and nice with satellite TV and free wifi. We've been riding our Harleys from Yuma up the coast without making any reservations and this was the best and most pleasantly surprising find yet. The lady at the desk was very helpful. The attached cafe had a nice dinner... More

We had travelled north from San Francisco without booking a hotel near Fortuna and by the time we were ready to stop for the night we couldn't find a motel in Fortuna or the city north of Fortuna. As it was just turning dark my husband spotted the "Motel Trees". We pulled in and got the last room. We were... More

You really can't ask for a better location if you're trying to visit Klamath. The woman who checked us in and out could have been friendlier, but she wasn't outwardly rude. The room was much larger than expected, as was the bathroom, and the mounted flat screen was a welcome surprise due to our trip taking place during the Olympics.... More

This is the best choice in Klamath. The motel is among the coastal redwoods and not far from a beautiful spot on the Pacific coast. Recently updated. Motel was clean and bed comfortable and there were no problems or concerns. Best of all this is a non-pet friendly motel which is getting harder and harder to find. Landscaping made the... More
