We made a reservation well in advance for a suite for 2 days during the long weekend based on the positive reviews on yelp/trip advisor. Verbal confirmation was given on the phone and the credit card details were taken. What followed was a very shocking experience. On our way to Klamath, we made a call on the first ¬day of... More

The Ravenwood Motel is everything you need for a stay in the redwoods. The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. Breakfast is good and coffee is available during the day. The owner was very pleasant and made sure everything was good for us. Good room, good bed, good breakfast, good price. Enough said.

I'll start with the good: very inexpensive, $135 per night for their biggest suite (room 27). It has a separate bedroom, two futon couches, and a full kitchen. But the room had a strange smell and the furniture and decor was very dated. Nothing around it -- the convenient store has slot machines and there was a huge casino under... More

My wife and I had a pleasant stay at the Ravenwood, the owners were really friendly and helpful. There wasn't a lot to do in the immediate area but there are some stunning drives through the a Redwoods closeby.

Granted there are not a lot of places to stay in Klamath , I would drive out of the way to go somewhere else. Yes the rooms are clean, but the price you pay for that is a horrific industrial chemical smell. ( my husband thought it was insecticide). I feel my throat is still closed up. Mattress was most... There are few places to stay in Klamath, and all, including those Woodland Villa cabins, are very close to 101. So wherever you stay in Klamath, get in the mood for some cars passing at night. We rented a suite at Ravenwood for 2 nights in June 2014, and it was surprisingly roomy and comfy. The kitchenette was wonderful. It... More

After driving all day from Astoria to Klamath the Ravenwood Motel was great. Right in the middle of the Redwood National Park area. The owner Perry was very helpful and gave us some great information on the area! Would definitely recommend!

Only clean place for miles. Great place to rest on the road or for hikers looking for warm bed and shower between adventures. No phones, limited internet, not much in range for tv...so we read a book. Continental breakfast was fantastic, lots of options including boiled eggs, bagels, pastries, oatmeal, fruit and cottage cheese. (Grateful for the protein). The hospitality... More

We spent new years there. The place was cute, quite, very clean and friendly. I like the fact that it's seems to be family owned and it included a nice enough breakfast. They didn't take dogs but made an exception for us (well behaved dog for one night). We even forgot something in the room, and they mailed it back.... More

Centrally located within Redwood National Park- this is a nice place to retreat to after a day of exploring the nearby trails and forests. We had a clean and comfortable double room (two twin beds) with sufficient space, comfortable beds and quiet surroundings. There is a kitchen area with available tea/coffee open until 11:00pm- providing a nice space to enjoy... More
