My wife and I, with friends from England, had a wonderful stay here but unfortunately just for one night. Wonderful staff and the food was magnificent. Truly a gem. We will definitely stay again and use it as a base to tour the area - whilst there do the jet boat tour just down the road, very knowledgeable tour guide.

We used the Requa Inn as a home base for some hiking in the Redwood National Park. We were greatly impressed by the serenity of the settings and especially how much the staff cared for the environment, the forest, and how much we are all a part of the ecosystem. Super friendly staff, an excellent breakfast with many a la... More

It is very rare to find a place like this gem. The service is impeccable and genuine, the dinner can rival and even surpass world-class cities, and it is by far the quietest hotel you will ever sleep in. The inn sits on the river near where it meets the ocean and we were treated to seals hunting for salmon... More

My husband & I stayed in room #14 (boat Creek) and loved the accommodations. This room is on the 2nd floor & overlooks the river. We watched seals & birds feasting on the salmon runs from our window. There was some noise from the road, but it was minimal. The breakfast was wonderful each morning and we took advantage of... More

Terrific place! Old building with the normal idiosyncrasies but nothing to complain about. Very helpful staff and truly excellent. Breakfast is included with the room ad is cooked to order with many selections available. Great coffee! Four course gourmet dinner was just outstanding and worth every bit of the $45 cost. Bed and room were comfortable while the bathroom was... More

Only stayed one night but it was a good place - nice lounge with lots of stuff about the history of the building, comfy room and decent breakfast. Only disappointment was that we couldn't eat there despite giving the requested 24 hrs notice as they'd booked out for non-guests.

The Requa Inn is simply terrific. The natural beauty of the surrounding area is in excelcis and the Inn itself achingly charming. The food is as good as anything you will find in San Francisco; head-and-shoulders above anything for miles around. This gem of a place joins a necklace of high-end places to stay on coastwise travel (Benbow Inn, etc.).

Me and my wife stayed here for our first night on our honeymoon. The inn is very charming, the dinner is outstanding and very reasonably priced. Breakfast was perfect. We would definitely come back again.

If you are traveling and staying in the National Redwood Forest in CA the B&B options are limited but the Requa Inn is your best option. Very friendly staff, comfortable and clean room, breakfast and dinner was excellent.

Our recent three night stay at the Requa Inn was relaxing and enjoyable and we found the innkeepers and their staff to be welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our accommodation was a front room overlooking the river and while the furnishings are dated the bed was comfy and the bathroom spacious and well stocked. The front porch rockers are a wonderful...
