This inn goes at its own pace - it has major character and heart - if only its walls could talk ( inside joke, you've got to stay there to get it) ! On check-in you'll notice the out of this world view of the Klamath River form the lounge and reception (you are also able to enjoy the view... More

My husband and our two children (ages 9 and 11) stayed at the Requa Inn in May 2014. It was so restful and pleasant that we stayed an extra night. The children enjoyed playing with the neighborhood dog and jumping on the trampoline down by the lawn above the river. I walked down the little trail to the water's edge... More

We had a beautiful room with a king size bed, claw-footed bathtub and a magnificent view of the Klamath River. It was a corner room with excellent lighting and breezes. The hotel is quiet. The antique furnishings are authentic. We had dinner at the Inn as well as the free breakfast. Both meals were wonderful. They seat people family style,... More

I recently spent two nights at the Requa Inn, and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. I love the ambiance of the place - historic without being 'kitchy'. I felt like I was in a family home that had been loved and added to for generations. Every member of the staff that I interacted with was outgoing and friendly, and seemed... More

The Historic Requa Inn is part of the Redwood Forest experience. We spent a week there hiking and every evening it felt like we were coming home, enjoying dinner with other guests from throughout the world, Australia, Austria, Sweden, and even those from our hometown of Chicago. The delicious and nutritious breakfast served each morning was a wonderful way to... More

Firstly this is a review of the accommodation, which is great. Don't go to the restaurant - see other review. The price isn't cheap but it isn't crazy crazy money. We had the old post office room which was below the main building sort of. we had a lobby area, nice lounge thing with sofa bed and a master bedroom.... More

My wife and I, with friends from England, had a wonderful stay here but unfortunately just for one night. Wonderful staff and the food was magnificent. Truly a gem. We will definitely stay again and use it as a base to tour the area - whilst there do the jet boat tour just down the road, very knowledgeable tour guide.

We used the Requa Inn as a home base for some hiking in the Redwood National Park. We were greatly impressed by the serenity of the settings and especially how much the staff cared for the environment, the forest, and how much we are all a part of the ecosystem. Super friendly staff, an excellent breakfast with many a la... More

It is very rare to find a place like this gem. The service is impeccable and genuine, the dinner can rival and even surpass world-class cities, and it is by far the quietest hotel you will ever sleep in. The inn sits on the river near where it meets the ocean and we were treated to seals hunting for salmon... More

My husband & I stayed in room #14 (boat Creek) and loved the accommodations. This room is on the 2nd floor & overlooks the river. We watched seals & birds feasting on the salmon runs from our window. There was some noise from the road, but it was minimal. The breakfast was wonderful each morning and we took advantage of... More
