I saw osprey and bald eagle from the picture window at the inn. Mom and I had rooms 9 and 11, which share a bathroom. Comfortable beds. Mom is slightly handicapped, but they helped us carry luggage upstairs. Charming decor. Helpful employees. Relaxing atmosphere. Exquisite food for dinner with a reservation. Yummy breakfast with huge blueberry pancakes. I would definitely... More

A hotel well worth visiting. Superb location. The rooms vary in quality and size and not all the beds are equally good, but the whole atmosphere and the common area are delightful. They serve a very modern, European inspired menu every evening and considering the remote location you cannot help thinking where did that just come from? The breakfast was... More

An absolute highlight of a 10 day visit to Northern California, this place surpassed every expectation. Staying in a historical inn is always fun, but the views are so peaceful and the lodging so incredibly warm and inviting. Some places make everyone in them happy - and every guest was smiling and friendly. Both dinner and breakfast were tremendous, the... More

This is not a negative review of the Requa Inn, which is a lovely place to stay, as most of the reviews agree. However, since I trust Trip Advisor so much, I want to let all future customers know that the Requa Inn has started what seems to be a new policy of adding gratuities onto the bill. For example:... Stayed here a night. Service was fantastic. Room was comfortable and spacious. Really quaint old inn with beautiful views. Breakfast was included which was also great. Should have stayed an extra night to explore the area more. Loads of great trails around. There is a restaurant onsite which is open most days, check ahead of time.

The Historic Requa Inn is a charming old (1907) hotel on the Klamath River. It is in an excellent location for exploring the giant redwoods in the National Park. After a long day of hiking the trails the national park the Requa is just the place to relax. The rooms are individually furnished and they have old hotel charm. Additionally,... More

As some of the other reviews indicate, the Requa Inn is a real gem of a B&B style Inn. The location is amazing, overlooking the Klamath River. A real highlight for us, after a day of long hikes in the Redwoods, was grabbing a bottle of wine from the front desk, sitting on the porch and watching the wildlife action... More

We found this little gem on our trip out west to see the redwoods and we couldn't have been happier. Ideally located near many of the state parks which allows for great viewing of the old growth redwoods. The inn is situated right on the Klamath river with a very short drive and hike to the beach where the Klamath... More

To my delight, I saw an elk eating on the side of the road as I drove into town. As I pulled into the driveway and parked, a fat black and white cat rolled over begging for a belly rub as I opened the car door. After being politely welcomed and given inn navigational directions, I was delighted with my... More

We miss the Requa Inn - words I never thought I'd be typing. Yes, after spending 3 nights there last week, we find ourselves missing this historic inn which is now more than a century old. The inn is located right next to the road so do not be surprised when you first drive up. Assuming you do not have... More
