If you are traveling and staying in the National Redwood Forest in CA the B&B options are limited but the Requa Inn is your best option. Very friendly staff, comfortable and clean room, breakfast and dinner was excellent.

Our recent three night stay at the Requa Inn was relaxing and enjoyable and we found the innkeepers and their staff to be welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our accommodation was a front room overlooking the river and while the furnishings are dated the bed was comfy and the bathroom spacious and well stocked. The front porch rockers are a wonderful... We didn't stay here but had read about the dinners and that non-guests could eat here if space was available. We had driven to the overlook and decided to stop and check it out. The staff was wonderful and told us about the next evening's dinner menu as the current evening was fully booked. They also invited us to stay... More

We stayed at the Requa in June 2014. It was rainy that day and we were happy to have a place to settle after a long day of driving. The lobby and the chairs in our room were perfect for curling up with a book and a glass of wine obtained from the front desk. We enjoyed the dinner very... More

We stayed one night at Requa Inn. As others have commented it is a charming old building overlooking a peaceful river. While sitting in the front porch we saw a bear swim across the river, as well as fish jumping. The breakfast was great, but we were disappointed by the Dinner. It is very expensive for what it is. It... More

This wonderful Inn was recommended by a very nice cashier in Trinidad, after we were unable to find last minute lodging on our "no itinerary" vacation. I called immediately, and reserved a room. Upon arrival, we asked if we could stay 2 nights ... Yes, but in a different room, which was just as great as the first. At checkout,... More

My husband and I spent 2 nights at the Requa Inn, and really enjoyed it. The inn is beautifully decorated and very charming. The location grants a superb view of the Klamath River. There were several rocking chairs on the front porch, and we enjoyed sitting there watching fish jump out of the water in search of insects. The Inn... More

We stopped at the Requa for 2 nights and found the hotel generally deliteful. We found the food some of the best we have eaten in Northern CA. The rooms are fairly clean and quite unusual. I would go there if I were looking for an interesting hotel in a beautiful location. The owners are very helpful. The only slight... More

The location is great. The rooms are decorated well, but in our room some things, such as the blinds were broken and did not close--therefore it was very bright in the early morning and hard to sleep. Like it has been consistently mentioned, breakfast is good, but the menu change is minimal--if you stay for multiple days and this bothers... More
