So, here I am in the Requa Inn overlooking the wild Klamath River and surrounded by the majestic redwoods of Redwood National Park. The inn is friendly, comfortable, rustic, and peaceful. There are delightful sounds to rest the weary including wind in the trees and water tumbling down the creeks to the river. These, together with wonderful beds and down... More

Oh no! We are very sorry that you were unable to sleep because of worry about the escape ladders. Our rooms are equipped with ladders that are stored discreetly and we apologize that our staff wasn't aware where it was located in your room. Also rest assured that the owners live on site. So at minimum you would have Jan... More

When we drove up to the Inn, we did not know what was waiting for us. The innkeeper was an absolute gem, provided great information on things to do. And she made a mean breakfast! The room was comfortable but the bed itself- can you say - heavenly! Made for a very restful and peaceful night. Will definitely return when... More

Had a delightful stay on a dark and stormy night in December. Staff were wonderful! Wife and I wanted to stay at a historic inn on our trip down the coast and this 100 year-old place hit the spot. Old and rickety with antique furnishings and claw-foot tubs. Our room was large and spacious with a sitting area and river... More

Down comforters, down pillows (with hypo-allergenic options for those who prefer them...) on a beautiful river, with little waterfalls (it had been raining, I don't think they flow all the time), delicious food, interesting conversations about the Yurok Indians, games to play if you choose, a real wood fire, a jacuzzi, a fire pit and a gazebo ... lovely

This was a one night stop over on a trip from Oregon to Northern California Redwoods. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The inn is charming. My friend and I had two rooms with a shared bath, which worked great for us. Unfortunately, her room was missing some blinds and overlooked a staircase, which caused her some privacy concerns. Service... More

My best friend Jan and I chose the Historic Requa Inn because it was managed by a family from the Yurok tribe, native to the area, and because it was located right in the center of the Redwood National Forrest. Other reviewers mention the comfort, charm and cleanliness of the Inn, the delicious gourmet meals, the lovely wine list, but... More

Everything about this place I loved. Location was central to the Redwoods for GREAT day hikes. Breakfast was FANTASTIC. Huge and hearty to keep you going all day long. Would highly recommend for couples looking for a getaway in the Redwoods.

Loved our stay at the Requa Inn. Enjoyed the dinner there too. The receptionist was nice enough to call me early in the day to see if I wanted to join for dinner, and let me know that there weren't very many other restaurant options nearby. Thought it was very nice to get the call. And dinner didn't disappoint. Stayed... More

Requa Inn is a special place. It's not the most gorgeous nor as well appointed as some places we've stayed. But what it has is a charm, a feeling is love by the owners and staff, and a gorgeous setting. The rooms are quaint. The beds are terrific and our room (6) had a beautiful view of the river and... My boyfriend sometimes drives me crazy, we decided to go on a trip to the west coast to relax and found heaven in this adorable inn. Wonderful views of the river and close to the trees of mystery which is a must if you are in the area. The food was the best food we had all week. Also the... More
