Located in the heart of the world's most premier old-growth Redwood Forest, right on the banks of Northern California's Klamath River, where the Redwood Forests meet the sea, the Requa Inn has been a home away from home for over a century. Built from old growth redwood, the 14 room inn features private bathrooms in every guestroom and a sumptuous breakfast cooked to order every morning. We offer fine selection of regional wines and beer. Featuring wi-fi throughout most of the property, the Historic Requa Inn is the perfect base camp for a redwood adventure. Call ahead about our farm to fork seasonal, weekend dinners.
Our room was spacious, full of beautiful details, and the bed and pillows were amazing. This was my best sleep in our week long trip. We enjoyed playing with puzzles while drinking hot chocolate and the cookies in the living room were a wonderful touch. We ended our night at the jacuzzi tub outside. I highly recommend the Requa Inn.

My fiancé and I stayed at the Requa Inn the weekend we got engaged. The innkeeper Cass went above and beyond to make us feel so special. The inn is impeccable, every room is so beautiful, each room is equipped wine glasses, opener and a bottle of local wine if you choose to purchase it. The chef, Kenny cooked outstanding meals with his farm to table menu. We felt loved and welcomed every moment by Cass, Kenny and those staying at the Inn. We truly could not have imagined or planned a more perfect weekend.

We wanted to celebrate our anniversary in the Redwoods. We were lucky to find the Requa Inn. You could tell that the owners were proud of their place as it was well maintained and had a special, welcoming charm. The living room invited you in with the warmth of a cozy fireplace. Our room was very clean and nice with a great gorgeous view of the Klamath River. The Inn manager, Cass greeted us and shared where we could grab a bite to eat. We came back and wrapped up our anniversary with a bottle of their wine. In the morning, we had a delicious breakfast of pancakes and eggs. We hated to leave but finished our coffee and said goodbye to Cass and the Innkeeper. On top of everything, great friendly service made our anniversary extra special. We have stayed at a couple of different places around here and sorry we didn't find this sooner.…

A real homey experience. Incredibly welcoming staff. The lobby is very comfortable and the views of the river are mesmerizing. Breakfast is incredible, beds are comfortable and most rooms have sitting areas with river views. Great base camp . Stay a few days and explore the coast , river and Redwood forests.

This is a delightful place that has attention to details and a beautiful sunrise view. Room #21 is as described. Definitely perfect for a solo traveler but probably too small for anything but (I could barely roll out my yoga matt with the available space). The surprise was the little gazebo overlooking the lake and the wonderful sunrise view overlooking Bottom line: the best place to stay around Klamath.

We really enjoyed our stay at this quaint little inn. Everyone was so nice to us and you can't beat those afternoon cookies. The room was comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed the breakfast every morning sitting by the windows watching the river. It was the center for our trips to Redwood National Park and Jedediah Smith State Park. We will miss our evening coffee and tea on the front porch talking to Brother (the cat).

An historic inn (with all the charm that goes with that, in a tranquil, soul-restoring location. The breakfasts were delicious (farm-fresh ingredients), the dinners tasty and the servings generous. Our stay here was a memorable part of a wonderful trip.

My husband and I stayed in the Trillium room for 2 nights which is a large king room on the ground floor and has its own entrance. The room had its own little kitchenette area with a 2 place settings table, coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator. It also had a toaster oven but it was unplugged on the side. The bathroom was very spacious with a large no-threshold shower. It splashed outside its basin when I used it but lots of bathmats and towels were provided for mop up. The separately-operated restaurant was offering its farm-to-table dinners while we were there and we reserved for both nights of our stay. We had 2 excellent dinners! The offerings for breakfast were more basic but also very fresh and very good.
