This was a great stay for a family summer trip to the redwoods. They had just put in brand new memory foam mattresses that were so comfortable. Very nice kitchenette allowed us to prepare meals and even dine at the table. There is a store and restaurant adjacent where you check in. A very good value.

My sister and I travel a lot for business and pleasure and we stay in nice hotels all of the time. On this trip we decided to find a small cabin like setting that was close enough to the redwood forest. This place was amazing. Very clean, our bed was extremely comfortable, bathroom was nice, plus we had a fridge... More

Our family decided to take a weekend getaway to the northern California coast this summer. We found this cabin online as it was centered in the vicinity that we were hoping to explore and boy did we find a treasure. The cabin was perfectly sized for our family of 4, it was so peaceful and cozy that it really felt... More

At first we were not excited, but our stay in this quirky place was very nice... We slept well and everyone was very nice and their price was incredibly good... One thing snout the area... It is hard to find something to eat for breakfast before 9AM... Finally found a local cafe that is open seasonally in Klamath... Its the... More

We stayed in the back cabin with a great yard for the dogs. Had a wonderful time. There is a guy that lives there full time, it was wonderful speaking with him and his dog Thor. He had great info on the area. The woman that runs the place was very nice also and very personable.

Do not expect to be on site in the Redwood National Park. The cabins are located just off a two lane road on the way to the parks. There is a convenience store with meal options next door where you pick up your key and pay. If you are a person of average height or greater, you will have to... More

We stayed here on our drive from San Francisco to Seattle, Normally we would stay in a boring old chain hotel on our trip but we decided to try something different this time and we were very pleasantly surprised first it's in a great location.Second the staff especially the owner Sharon were so lovely and made us feel really welcome.... There have been some mixed reviews on this place, so I thought I would weigh in on my experience. I stayed in Cabin 12. It appears to have been recently remodeled with new furniture and hardwood floors, so it does not look like the current photo on their website. The bathroom is small and not yet updated, but it does... More

Heather and I have spent some wonderful times at Woodland Villa Country Cabins. We have been repeat visitors and have stayed in three of the cabins. We find the comfortable cabins such a quiet and beautiful escape from the SF bay area's fast paced and busy lifestyle. Sharon and her staff are gracious hosts. They are very helpful and allow... Great location, but less than average accommodations. The staff was very pleasant, but they seem to be understaffed. You check in at the convenience store nearby, which was weird, and there is not a staffed night/morning office. At 8:00 a.m. I could not figure out where to turn in keys and had to call for instructions. It appears that the... More
