We booked cabin #11 last-minute after staying a few days in Arcata because we wanted to be closer to the Redwood forests. This was the best choice we ever made, and stayed there for 6 nights. Although the cabins aren't luxurious, the place advertises themselves as a "motel", which is what you will pay for. The bathroom was beautifully clean... More

This place is nuts. The fact that theWhere to begin??? This place is insanely expensive and the site (National Park Reservations) could not have been more misleading. The "cabins" are literally RIGHT on the highway and SHARE a property with a gas station (so weird and definitely not what we expected for $160/per night. The exterior of our cabin had... More

We were greeted warmly on arrival by Sharon. The cabin was everything we wanted in a stay in the Redwoods! The cabin was very clean and comfortable. At night it was very quiet--we were in cabin #11. Enjoyed the convenience of eating in the restaurant right there. Very good food and service. We had no cell phone reception and needed... More

I had read reviews of other places near the Redwood National and State Parks up and down 101, but since we were planning an early start on the 8+ hour hike to the Tall Trees circle up Redwood Creek, we wanted to be close to that trailhead. As well, we would have dogs with us for the 2 nights, requiring... More

This is my favorite California trip, to stay in these cabins and fish for Salmon and Steelhead in the Klamath River. Surrounded by Redwoods and local wildlife, this makes for a great weekend. Sharon the owner is a delight and always helpful. Great ribeye steaks, smoked salmon and fresh pizza fed my crowd exceptionaly well! Cant wait to go back!

I had read the negative reviews of this place but didn't correlate it with the cabins I found on the Redwood National Park website. They were cute and in the area we were planning to spend the night. We made our Non-cancellation (because it was 2 weeks before our stay) reservations and then I realized these were cabins that had... More

Avoid this place; you will be better served getting a hotel in Crescent City or Eureka, and get a better deal for you money. I don't know why the parks service lists these cabins on their site; it serves as a tacit recommendation that I wanted to trust, but in retrospect should not have. This place is right on the... More

These cute little cabins are on the 101, but are so close to the 101 that the trucks passing in the night sound as if they are passing directly through the cabin. This is too bad, as the manager/owner was a lovely woman who is very warm and helpful, the cabins are clearly well cared for and the general location... More

Booked by park service, who highly recommended. Have they been here? Feels like a bait & switch scam. Gave us cabin 2. It looked like a tear down from outside. Needed paint, windows hanging crookedly. Went in. Dirty floor, not from us, extremely small, bed in front room. Couldn't be much closer to highway. Incredibly loud. Tried to close a... More

Had Cabin 7 for four adults. Staff was nice. Cabin was adequate although there were no screens in one bedroom. Highway noise is very loud and there was a sewer smell that kept us from being outside or keeping windows open. No Internet unless one walks to the office area. Food in the cafe was fine. Was referred here by... More
